Cute Little Comic

I'm not the person to usually post any deviantart, but I felt this was cute little humorous comic ought to be shared. It's a one page comic done by winterweather featuring a little catgirl wanting to become a better swimmer. A shady salesman sells the girl a massage item to help her breasts grow in order to give better flotation. But things are too good to be true

When are people gonna learn to write comics COHERENTLY? I have NO idea what's going on in this story, even WITH the help of the description. I also hate the stupid "nya" that's put on EVERYTHING related to ANIME and CATGIRLS. It's retarded and annoying and pulls me out of the moment. It looks like the artist drew the comic in a clockwise fashion, which doesn't make sense. The drawing is alright, but with all the messed up comic layout, just makes me want to smack em over the head and make them redo it as punishment.

They will always happen, regardless of your attempts at stopping them, so give it a rest already.

Found it rather funny. It was a bit trick to follow at first, but then it made sense. Read down the left side all the way, then go to the right. If you're still lost, he promises to help her float better. Dattebayo.

Just because you cannot understand a comic doesn't make it incoherent. I had no trouble understanding what was going on.

It would kill some of the purpose of a catgirl if they do not adopt any tendencies of a cat such as their love for yarn balls, cleaning, or in this case, meowing. What may pull you out of your moment may put someone such as myself in our own.

The comic format is based on how the artist wants it. We do not need to make them how it is seen all the time. I enforce as much creativity as possible. And that includes how comic formats are done.

BTW, the artist is here as we speak. >.>

Those hips are crazy! Catgirls are a favorite of mine, especially those that only have slight feline features. Imagine having to lug those large breasts around though. My back hurts just from thinking about it...

The comic is amusing. I liked the art style so much that I browsed through the entire gallery.

I agree. A good storyteller makes a reasonable attempt at clear storytelling. Arrows could be included to indicate the flow of panels since they so markedly differ from a conventional layout, Western or Eastern.

I think what appears to be "n-nya" is cute. "Gasp-nya" could be considered a satirical joke - included because it's so absurd that no one would seriously write that - but with the artist's poor grasp of English, I'm not so sure.

Her face in the second panel (going down from the top left) is nice, and I like the last panel, where she's "floating." The rest of it's a mess, particularly the "splash" shot in the middle, but to be fair it doesn't look like it's meant to be anywhere near finished. So, um, it's a one page throwaway gag that falls flat due to a failure to communicate.
