It used to bother me too, but I've gotten to the point where I can say to myself: "Hey, there not psychic, so they can't know, therefore, I'm perfectly safe" With that in mind, I can be ok with random acts of GTS in movies or commercials. I also know what you mean about felling somewhat ashamed about your fetish(s). People will tend to call any fetish weird, even the normal ones! Being that we take a lot of other people say to heart, even if we don't mean to, it tends to color our perspective. That being said, it's like who most people know that killing is wrong, but that's only because that's what we've been told through media, mentors, and people we trust. Just because something isn't average, doesn't make you a freak. Just look at all the people here! If you were REALLY a freak with some of the wall crazy fetish, you wouldn't be finding thousands of people in communities based off of it, now would you? And just look at how many people are here trying to support you! We don't even know you, but we know what you're going through, and we want to help.

Bottom line: It's easier once you realize that your head is like window locked from the inside. Things only get out when you want them too. Also, unlike guys, it's harder to tell when I women is aroused. It's not like YOU have to worry about people noticing a growing bulge in YOUR pants! XP So try to relax, you have total control of what you let on to, and what you keep hidden in your own mind. And if you have to, you can say that to yourself a few times. Whatever works, right?

This forum has helped me a lot in the sense that you guys are the only people who I don't feel embarassed about my fetish around and I know there are other people who have it.

My boyfriend knows about it and he's the only person I know outside of this forum that I have ever told about it. I showed him a few clips, but it embarassed me so much that I can not watch them again. >_< Even though he insists he doesn't think I am weird.

But I am thankful he knows about it because he has been in the room a few times when it randomly came on the television or something with a group of people and he came up with excuses during those times for us to leave the room, which felt like a lifesaver to me.

Caught as in on the computer, reading, etc. Alice in Wonderland isn't really a problem, but there is alot of other things that...I try my best to hide.

i usually don't have a problem with movies as much as real life. i can't say how many times i get turned on at work. every time i turn around this hot short girl complains about her height wishing she was taller. it about gets to the point sometimes to where i think god is mocking me.

I think it comes down to disipline. I know there is a time to be "turned on" and a time when to react normaly. At home is one one of those times. At work or at a movie is a bad time. I would say I have a nice grip on my emotions.

i did that and at first they didn't know what to think. they looked at me like i was nuts and for like a week they didn't talk to me. they came around. they told me they finaly say what the big deal was and why it had a effect on me. and there cool with it now. and its been 5 years and they still have kept it a secert. then like i said a few posts ago i came out and told my girlfriend. she has been such a big help. she even what to do a bit of role playing so she can get in on it..
