hi im a long time lurker of the process and a long time artist myself and i know that if we dont encourge more material from the ppl that post here what good is having it ppl are entitled to their opinion. I think link has done a good job and think he atleasts deserves the chance to get better...if we are totaly badmouthing and artist weither good or bad then where are we gonna get material..and i know for a fact ppl do appreicate new content weither its good or bad...link keep up the good work hope to see more of your stuff

"WE" don't deal with having to make sure the servers are up and running. "WE" don't have the right to choose a particular standard and decide if a piece of work meets up with that standard.

The internet as a whole is an open domain. Individual sites, though, are not. This is somebody's personal site and forum, on which he PERMITS others (that would be you and me, in case you're not quite getting it) to post their opinions and works. If he says something isn't good enough, then tough beans for anybody who disagrees. It's. Not. Good. Enough. You can't make that call. Neither can I. The fact that I agree with him, or that you disagree with him, is immaterial. Every once in a while I pick up an pencil and make a few sketches - they look like something done by a first grader. Maybe somewhere out there somebody might actually think it's a brilliant work of art (unlikely, but work with me in a theoretical sense here, please). Nevertheless, it's obvious that the drawings I do are not up to any sort of reasonable standard of quality. Hence, I don't post them on here. Simple.

You know what, you go ahead and get your own forum and webspace, and you can make the rules. I don't make the rules here, I just follow them - and I feel that those who think they're entitled not to (or that others are entitled not to) are flat-out incorrect. That means YOU.

That's true. However, he doesn't necessarily deserve the right to use up somebody else's webspace and bandwith during that time. I'm not stopping him from drawing. Neither is Lorekeep. In fact, Lorekeep actually encouraged him to work at it and try and get better - just not to do it on the forum's webspace (a choice that is his call to make). There's no rule that says you have to be able to post on 'The Process Forum' in order to practice drawing.

You make a very valid point, but we still are entitled to each of our own opinions. Yes, in the end the the owner makes the final decision.

I think you went a bit over with some remarks. I'm a smart guy, I know what's what, and I DO "GET IT!" Trust me I DO!

Anyway, I really don't want to argue about this anymore, let's just end it here.

I frist what to stat that this IS lorekeep is the owner of this sit. next I what to point out that you were over cheering some thing that was not that good 4 out of 10 at very best.
now to linkG07 It was a good story and it was neat to see peach big, but your art if you can call it that was crap leaving lots of room for inproving.

And finaly to all you other good artist keep it up. and dear god please STOP BICERING !!!!!!!!!!

It's not your fault, some people will do these things. Sometimes you have to shake it off, I wasn't bickering about the art, some people didn't like it and then an argument started.

With all due respect LinkG07, my motto has always been.....................

"Always look for ways to improve yourself everyday."

I follow it everyday.

No matter what you due, follow that bit of advice and you can become better at what you do, just believe in yourself, never give up.

Look, everyone, I've been watching this thread from day one. Link, your a good artist, just keep working on it, & try to redo the comic when your a bit better, also, Lorekeep, I'm not trying to go against you or anything, but we do need to encourage new artists into the fray since we seem to be losing the old. Quality vs Quantity is usually an arguement here. But this kid's got good potential if he takes a few art classes. As for everyone trying to explain themselves here, don't. Take a page out of "Crazy Ol' Brit's" book & step back & look at what the situation has become. We've lost a member of the board because of this. Now, I don't care if I get banned for speaking my mind, but I am getting tired of seeing the same ol' mangas. Link was a nice change of pace & showed me that new artists are at least taking an interest. We don't want the growth community to end up like another Dr. Quatro site, do we? Link, I also ask if you would share the comic in an email or something with me. Cause it's killing me to find out what happens next. Keep working on it, & soon you can be your own living legend. Lorekeep, I know it must be extremely frustrating with the holidays & having to keep us board lurkers in check, but please, take it easy. & as for Jumba, I applaud you sir, you have shown a maturity not seen for awhile in this forum. That's my 1 & 1/2 cents...
