Anyone here ever try Second Life?

I may be out of the loop, but I just started, and I love it! Just wanted to know if anyone else tried it, and to let everyone who hasn't just how good it is!

It's an MMO and it's free! You can spend money to get stuff but most of it's free! I mean, you can even part the hair just the way you want it!

Anywho, I'm off to get my free Stargate working! XD

I've tried it but could never find anything really interesting to do. Miles and miles of empty avatar stores and shops. Maybe I just didnt know where/how to look?

Like most MMO games, it's made of fail and aids.

it takes about a week or 2 to find your place in second life.... i found it fun but then i didnt return for like a year and lost my place :/ and if you want all the nifty stuff you either have to buy it with real money or make it yourself.... now theres ways to get money in the game but there impractical for getting money the best way is to go to the casinos to camp at the slot chairs since they have the highest pay rate per minute but you have a time limit on the chairs for inactive players....

it took me 3 days of saving money from camping in the casino to get the sword i wanted its a fun game to hang out in but it takes a moment to get into :/ also the hair options are ok but the polyflex hair is alot better :P and those you gotta buy or build yourself :/

Second Life would be another time stealer. It'd be fun if I had infinite time to do stuff. Being a hot chick online would be amusing, but that invites all sorts of creepiness.

I prefer the relative safety of Process.

I visit sl pretty often and its great for metting people from all over the glovbe and to well live out certain sides even transformation and transgender
ones and roleplay them. Pretty easy when you have the money to buy some of the really cool avatars you can get.

And tahts the main problem the money either you put in real money and not to few of it or you have to search for a job and there are not so many in sl that have a good pay out.

There are as it has been mentioned the camping pods but it takes much to much time to get enough money from them and the really good ones are mosten ocupied. having a shop orclub is anotherw ay but .... there are alot of shops and clubs in sl so its hard to get enough visitors that leave money.

What brings me to the third way of earning money being a dancer or....more tahn just adancer at one of thoose clubs....... the financial and timely effort is les great but the payout also depends on our visitors and their will to spend money and trust me it has decreased over the last year .

But beside the monetairy problem sl is a fun play to be and play out all kinds of transformations ...furry, shrinking, weightgain, transgender, inanimate and some others i don't remember right now.

Oh and if you like contact me when I'am online the name is Cani (how surprising) Yongho.

I wondered off the welcome area to find another welcome area that was still under construction. I flew around it a bit (I prefer flying. Even bought wings) and I found a dead Stargate underneath! I found a Ring transport, and i did a search and found Cleary! There you can get you own Stargate for free! It takes a minute to orient it the right way, but after that you can bring it anywhere and it spins and lights up and makes the WOOOSH! I could have fun with that one item for HOURS!!! And I did. Still do.

I love it just to fly around and dance, and do stupid stuff, and play with my Stargate! XD

It's not half bad. I don't mind having L$0. I can still do the free stuff, and that more that enough. I can make my own cloths, and create multiple avatars (via saving various appearances), and FLY! Yes, I'm pretty happy about the flying; it's always been one of my dreams, and now I can create a perfect Luinta, and have her fly around!

It's free to join and use Second Life.

But, and you knew there was one, many of the items in the game, be it equipment, buildings, land, clothing and most importantly modifications to characters cost money to buy. Some of it is free, but the really fancy stuff costs, so unless you're kicking in money or have the ability to create new content, your avi is going to be fairly plain.
