No, you guys have the name wrong. I own this book, it's called,"Beware of the Purple Peanut Butter." The series is called the Give Yourself Goosebumps series.

I was just thinking of these books, so I find it ironic you mention them, since I want to read the books that aren't choose your own adventure and see if they are any good, but I can't remember the name of it. It's somewhere in this book, though, they make a reference to it because this choose your own adventure is based off those books.
