Been posted. Look before you leap!
![]() People should really just... not make webcomics like this... ever. "HEY LOOK, I GOT SOME ANIME GIRLS AND SOME DOODZ TOO AND WE'S GONNA HAS US A WEBCOMIC ABOUT GOD KNOW'S WHAT. I AM AWESOME! OH LOOK BOOBSESESES LOLOLLOLLOLOLOOLOLLOLLOLO!" Et tu, brute?

Re: Web comic BE
You do realize, that despite the sub-par art, that this actually is a funny webcomic? One that doesn't involve boobs most of the time. Sadly, it recently ended (but currently has side-stories from the author's other webcomic, Marilith), but actually reading through the archives is definitely worth it.

Re: Web comic BE
Yes, I agree tis' funny. But most of the anime-nerd humor goes over my head in the form of awkward feigned ignorance. I just want to forget that I was ever an anime junkie. Now I look upon it as "ah, yeah, I remember that stuff, ha ha ha, those were the days, eh?".
The art is not my major concern, sub-par though it be. Context is king. Cyanide and Happiness. Proof right there. God-damned cleverest, stupidest, most psuedo-macabre jokes ever conceived. And the characters are nothing more than simplistic doll-like stick figures.

Re: Web comic BE
You do that, but don't get mad that other people still enjoy such things.
You don't like that, I don't care. if you hate it so much than don't waste your time with it. Go waste it elsewhere, because to post for no other reason than to say you hate something, is a waste of everyones time, yous included.

Re: Web comic BE
But... I don't... what? I don't hate it at all. It is funny! I just read that furry story arc. That had me laughing something good. Don't misunderstand me, this is perfectly acceptable. I just wanted to say that the only bad thing about comics like these is that they don't deviate much from a cliche character cast. This comic has the anime dudes, and the demon girls, and all those various other motifs, it just LOOKS like it is redundant from a distance. When I said people shouldn't make comics like this, I mean that they aught to strive to make something as unique as possible. Even though this comic is hilarious, I still see those all-too-familiar archetypes.
I guess I kinda ranted a bit on that first post. ![]() The lesson is: make something that looks different right off the bat. Success will follow suit.

Clickme.... two things
1) I like your new avatar, much more colorful 2) Who are the girls in your signature panel? And also, someone who likes MST3K can't be all bad (referring to author/artist of said strip).

Re: Web comic BE
Sorry, I'm a bit on edge tonight. I didn't mean to snap at you.
Those girls are from my book. I made them. Though I do need to change it now that I've finalized the characters' looks.

Re: Web comic BE
There was also a bit of growth/FMG/amazon at one point... a guest artist, if I recall correct, not to mention one of the supporting characters is a female body builder...
So, a bit of something for everyone... and when it actually updates, it's amusing. |

Re: Web comic BE
I said when I posted that I expected this to have been posted before. I just really did not want to dig through what must be at least five years of archives to make sure. Yes I am lazy. So are a lot of people. As for the art style I find it a bit charming and you have to give the Artist credit for at least trying rather then using sprites and stick figures. Sure the character archetypes are a bit over used. Thats no reason to go into a caps loaded frenzied rant. Just because you hate your fan boy past is no reason to say that a perfectly good comic should never had been made.
