I wonder if there is Japanese character based OCR, or how even English language OCR deals with comic pages...

Ah, a translated manga! That's great!

And a new hosting service to boot... never heard of savefile, but I"m downloading 3 files at 180 Kb/s each, which is a phenomenal speed. Much better than I would get on any other free service!

The proportions are a bit creepy (CLAMP anyone?) but this is still very nice

Well, apparently it said that it isn't the real translation as much as it just being influenced by what seems to be going on.

Pururun Seminar is currently being translated for real at http://www.tadanohito.net . But they are still working their way through Volume 1. The currently available work is more like what some call a "fandub translation", in that it follows the panels with guesses as to the meaning of the actions and dialogue; even the names of characters are simply invented...

Yeah...I'll wait until the real translation comes out. Fandubs are a bit weird sometimes. It was still a good thread necro.

Yeah, it is a fansub, it was posted in the BEA forums a while ago. Unfortunately I can't remember the subber's identity, so I can't give credit to him.
