I know for a fact that Windows 98 can open a PNG file with NOTHING ELSE installed. Internet Explorer version FIVE is sufficient.

The trick is that the forum passes an invalid MIME type, so your browser doesn't know what to do. All you have to do is save it to your hard drive and open it and you can see it just fine.

I really ought to count how many times I've said that since the forum upgrade...
