Reopening the store

Hey there people :P

Im back in commission working status and ive updated prices as well. I know there is still one person waiting for there prized from back in Feb but don't worry i haven't forgotten about you.

Anyway the only thing i changed on the price list is for sketches.

instead of 15$ like they use to be... they are now gonna be 10$ per sketch.... cleaned/ digital ink is still 20+( depending on how much stuff in the pic) and now manganized pics are 30+ ( depending on howmuch stuff still) and coloured pics are 45+ ( depending on characters and what not)

Now the way my schedule is at the moment im mostly gonna be working on commissions during my Sundays since its like my ONLY free day of the week thanks to friends and my CRAPPY! day job so orders will take a bit longer but for those who like to IM me i will most likely be at my computer chair on sundays so you can bug me all you want those days about what ever you purchased from me :P

OH right.... sketches you pay up front but cleaned/ digital, manga pics or coloured pics you can pay when im half way through them or anytime before my half way point

I make business card and flyer designs and other designs as well but i only get like 15-25 per design and i go to the customer where ever they might be and design it right in front of them instead of being at home or in an office. I really should be getting 50+ for design work but no one around here would pay that much for just the design work. They all think that i really shouldn't be paid anything because they don't consider it as real work..... fuckin retarded immigrants.... i don't really have anything against immigrants as long as they are here legally but....most of lawrence are of the illegal kind.

oh yea... also when waiting for a job, im riding around in a car with my business partner searching for more customers ( really were just waiting since we drive arond aimlessly) so drawing in the car os out of the question since its hard to draw in a moving car..... i could just quit but my Kind side ( 90% of my SOUL!) says to stick with the guy till i find a new designer for him to be stuck with but he said that he will be looking for someone like me ( reliable and not a thief) that will work for about the same price.... actually $5 less since i started working for 20 per design so apparently i earned that extra 5$....the guy is a nice guy and is a friend of mine but im slowly inching over to the other 10% of me that which 1% is all piss and vinegar with a cherry bomb and a fan covered in shit

Many times at the moment i have to keep myself from attacking these lawrence folk that i see everyday so im gonna have to quit soon before i hurt an illegal immigrant and get sued ( you heard me right)

so, get a lot of customers? you'd need at least 1 every three hours to make CA min wage. sounds pretty harsh. you should look into marketing, you could get a decent (and steady!) design job there. If you're in college, look up Delta Epsilon Chi, DECA's (an association of marketing students) college division. they could put you in touch with some cool people. I scored an easy $1k scholarship just by being a member and a checker at safeway. if not in college, network! put your foot (instead of your buddy's) out there and make some noise. most important, be persistant! don't give up even if they've only said "we'll call you." Make them say no before quitting.

Im lucky if i can get 3-4 customers in a week. I'd like to get back to college but.... money and transportation..... theres lots of things i gotta do in preparation to going back but doing this work gets in the way so i gotta quit soon

well YEAH dude, no one can live on $80 a week! seriously, look for something else, even a boring regular job.

man, i thought i was broke.

my $200 a week doesn't sound so bad now.
