Transformations and You (aka, my first contribution)
3. 2. 1.
(1950's style educational film begins) TRANSFORMATIONS AND YOU. Hey there! Say hello to your new best friend, Mary-Sue Everygirl. "'Everygirl'? My name is 'Everygirl'? What kind of fake name is that?" Mary-Sue is young, but she's a nice girl. She's an average girl, just like you. She's curious, clumsy, likes to explore ancient ruins, works at a laboratory, has a family curse, and is prone to being bitten by radioactive animals. Unfortunately, all of this puts her in danger of a quickly growing threat called transformation. "Transformation?" Haha, that's right, Mary-Sue. "Well, if it's such a threat, why are you laughing?" ...Anyway, it's your responsibility to know about transformations and how to avoid them. That's why we have sweet Mary-Sue to demonstrate how NOT to watch out for "transformation triggers." "W-what did you just say? I never agreed to anything like that! Heck, I don't even know how I got here!" So just let me know what kind of transformations you want to see first as poor Mary-Sue demonstrates all of the classic triggers to getting TF'd. Also, I know I'm still a developing artist, so critique is nice, too. Below is Mary-Sue Everygirl.

Gah! How about transforming her into something well-drawn? >.<
Okay, you need to go get an anatomy book or something. Those arms and legs are just terrible, I'm sorry to say. I mean, you're welcome to post whatever you like here, but without a good deal of practice/improvement I wouldn't expect to hear any compliments for a while yet... |

Well, I could start upload my hand drawn works directly. I tried to "touch it up" with Photoshop, but drawing lines with a mouse is hard for me. I'm hunting for a job right now, so a tablet might come soon.

You could transform her into a Chimpanzee
Make this little educational spoof into a sequence and make the transfomation contageous so the others will be transformed into other animals (anthro format) [i.e. Kangaroo, Mouse, Dog, Elephant, Bear]

Re: Transformations and You (aka, my first contribution)
Okay, so I decided not to continue this project. Not because of the critique, but because I'm afraid that uploading such art would be risky, considering I live with my family and all.
Anyway, to prove I'm not (completely) incompetent, here's a picture of the same character before she's shrunken and colored. Anatomy's still poor (don't pay attention to her arms) but I think she looks better. And I now realize that scribbling my username over the picture isn't really a good way of proving that I drew it, but ctrl+z doesn't work on paper. Big head is biiiiig.

OK. The concept is very interesting. Spoofing transformation cliches is a pretty novel idea. I would like to see more of the text outline of what you're trying to go for. I mean, granted, you still have a long way to go, art-wise, but the idea's so effingly inspired that it just might catch the eyes of other TF artists/writers and this dinky little project of yours might become a full-blown TF comedy standard.

Practice away on the limbs and proportions, and you should do fine.

It is indeed a good idea. It is too bad that you aren't continuing. Though I agree that if you continued with the script someone else might pick up the art.

Re: Transformations and You (aka, my first contribution)
Well, this isn't a good-bye. I'd love to contribute to the Process in the near future once I get more comfortable with my skills; however, due to the circumstances I'll probably only upload subtle stuff without nudity, just in case friends or family would stumble across it. I don't really know how they would, but it would be awful if the did.
I'd love to continue with this. Too bad I'm awful with commitment... Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see...
