Why wouldn't D3 online be free? Battle.net has been free on every other Blizzard game so far, and its not like WoW where they have to host the servers, hire GMs, create new content (except for expansions), etc.

Hellgate tried to have payable online multiplayer, and look how successful that was.

Only two of blizzard's games have died.

SC:Ghost and WarCraft Adventures. The ladder wasn't even being made by Blizzard but was actually licensed out to another company. But blizzard, liking the character, took him and implimented him into WC:3. That would be Thrall, BTW.

Blizzard WILL NOT release a game if it doesn't meet their high standards, they just wont. They will delay it until it's ready and if they cant get it ready, they will scrap it.

More companies need this policy, it'll stop crap games from being released...

Blizzard didn't develop SC Ghost either, that was Swingin Ape and Nihilistic.

A shame about Warcraft Adventures, I'm fond of the adventure game genre.

I'm really curious to see this one. Watched both trailer a few times and I'm already impressed. Of course, some people already started bitching about how bad it looks and how much it's going to suck but... hey, that's the Intarwebz for ya.

ive never played diablo, heck this is the first ive heard of it o.o i suppose its a good game to have 3 games and excitement for a 3rd one to be relased. what is it like?

Diablo 3

Both trailers will give you a pretty good idea of what the game is like. The previous two games are pretty much like the third, except that they didn't look as good or weren't as technically advanced.

It's just a good game serie. I'm actually re-playing the first two and enjoying it quite a bit. It's simple action with some nice thematic elements and good storytelling. It's probably not as immersive as a modded Oblivion can be, or as eye popping as Crysis, and it certainly doesn't hold a candle to Baldur's Gate as far as roleplaying goes, but it's fun and solid.

i'm pretty sure that wasn't blizzard, just licensed.

Hum... I don't think so. I'm not really console-guy. More into PCs.

Diablo 1 was released on PS1 over a decade ago, good luck finding it though.
