And the third (if I remember correctly) gets a mouth on the back of her head. They're all based off of popular goblins of Japanese mythology.

If it will save someone from being educated with the wrong term, I think so. Yokai here a form of Obake which means the "state of transformation". The reason I am so against using the term "goblin" is because these individual yokai these girls are becoming are too humanoid. This is in comparison to kappa which are more goblin in appearance. Although I cannot find an exact english word that can replace the word yokai I think "the supernatural" fits well enough as yokai can cover humans with special powers to ghosts to luck charms.

Grammar and definitions are different in my book. Especially if the definition for a term is important to the subject of a thread.

Well, again, then *you* correct it in *your* post. Editing other poster's words like they're wikipedia entries isn't- shouldn't- be what being a mod is about.

What I want to say- accurate or not- should remain what I wanted to say. I mean, I'm glad to know the correct term now, and I'll use it from here on out if it comes up, but it really feels like a line of propriety has been crossed here.

I'm not saying one thing ot the other on the mod-ing, mostly because I'm not crazy enough to piss off a Mod! XD, but I'm gonna say, I like the effects used. Thanks for the heads up! XD
