Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

hmm, so we basically just put a vague idea and you try to incorporate it?

So would me saying "Dancer" work as a rule?

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Kinda. It's not a try and incorporate, it's I HAVE to do it. It's a rule and it doesn't have to directly do anything TO what I'm drawing, it could be the way I have to go about drawing it. For instance, the no straight lines one means I can draw whatever I want, but it can't have any straight lines in it at all. As long as it's a rule that has to be followed, some times a good rule can span a few sketches, other times a rule is better off just being for one sketch. Something like circles only could work, but very likely be unusable, but saying three circles and a square, and I would have to make the basic shapes of the sketch those.

Wow, the disappearance of mass one was great. It reminds me of the clothing TFs you did before (which I loved btw).

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

I think it's the look. I usually do a less 'casual' look for people when, say, their limbs go missing, so something like this where her limbs disappear and all you get is a seductive look goes a long way. Also might be what you don't see that makes it fun. For instance, she's not wearing any underwear.

Clothing tfs, though, are fun and hard to think of without repeating the same thing over and over. Which is why I took a break from them before I did the sequence. Since the tf is not a partial (like leaving their eyes on the bra or face on the shirt so on) I have to work on making it still look like the person at least in fallen form. ^^;

So, anyone got any new rules to pop in with tonight? It's early, so you have plenty of time.

Slide Rule: If something gets bigger, something else has to get smaller. Want long legs? Get short arms. Bigger breasts? Smaller butt. Etc...

Stripes: There must be both vertical and horizontal stripes ina pic. And they can't overlap, no plaids or checks.

Stretch: Nothing in the pic can be the original/normal size. Every feature needs to be either bigger or smaller than normal, from limbs to eyes to breasts.

Now I eagerly await that sequence. It sounds like it'll be fantastic.
