Re: Ronzo Growth Commision Part 2: Fiction Project
Yeah, haha, sorry about the 'delay' (don't think that word applies anymore). I've just had a busy year. And trouble between me and my friends finding/getting artists/commissions, even for these current projects. At least it gives me more time to write (at a snail's pace), so that whenenever I do update there should be a couple of updates lined up. Between other writing assignments, Process related and otherwise, translating stuff (also both for this community and otherwise), and one or two other submissions of mine over the year, it's not like I've been barren, heh.
That being said, I should finally be updating with something within the next week or two, and have made some progress on yet another story besides the two I mentioned before. I've also been working on putting together a bigger project for a while that I've spent some time writing for and assembling stuff, although progress is slow. I have hopes that it'll be nifty when it's done. (Yes, I'm being vague). Speaking of vague, I also have some vague hopes of having Portal Comics or some other group do a comic of mine again in the future, but who knows. If I can get a script or two or three done, perhaps I'll turn them in to Lorekeep's mentioned comics site if he's interested (and once I see what the quality of the comics produced therein is like.) TL : DR - There will be an update soon. |

Maybe I forgot the first one, but could you kindly share the title and maybe a link? I really enjoy your writing, would hate to miss out on a project of your's.
Good to hear from you, I'll definately be looking forwards to whatever's in the works! |

Re: Ronzo Growth Commision Part 2: Fiction Project
The comic is titled "Stranger Than Fiction" and was produced by the BEArchive's BE Story Club. It's not hard to find the site, but you'll have to sign up as a member of the club to actually download the comic (and all the other ones on the site as well of course). If you like my writing here, it's pretty much more of the same, just, y'know, without copyrighted characters, lol.

I have actually seen this comic, and I must say I am very impressed. The plot and story was superb! The ending was especially awesome. I'll say no more to prevent spoilers.
![]() I do hope you plan on making more in the future.

Re: Ronzo Growth Commision Part 2: Fiction Project
I didn't actually make the connection to "Dsojourn" there. What was the story that went before "Stranger than Fiction" that all the characters kept talking about? I've never seen it or heard of it. And who was sitting across from "The Author" in the end?

Could someone put the comic together in a zipfile for me? I really want to see it yet not have to go through all that registering shit.

Uh...
It kinda needs to be paid for to see it. Giving it to you would A: be questionably legal and B: be sort of looked down upon. Registering might be a problem, but no one'll yell at you for it. >_>; |

Re: Ronzo Growth Commision Part 2: Fiction Project
@Qzar - The story that went on before, well, the story in Stranger Than Fiction doesn't exist. At least not "in real life". The entire hook was that the fictional world of the comic was taking place in a fictional world, but "outside" the bounds of the story as it was being told. As in, the characters were living their own, 'normal' lives uninfluenced by the will of their Author.
The Tweeest (tm) at the end was that the exact same thing was happening in a cycle, that "The Author" was himself part of a story (which he was of course, the one I was telling), but also within the world of the comic. So, the person sitting across from him was the one telling HIS story, another Author from another 'real world'. Or you. Or me maybe, since I wrote it. Isn't metafiction fun? @BlazingBarrager - I WOULD, but the story doesn't belong to me as Hooded Miracle pointed out. The BE Story Club put up the money to have it made into a comic in the first place so it's their property to sell and not mine. It would be quite unethical of me to violate the 'contract', regardless of how unlegal it technically is, not having been formalized or anything. @Max24 - Thanks, but that picture was already posted earlier in this very thread, back when it was first colored. |

The link to the BE Story Club is, of course, http://tour.bestoryclub.com/. I think that's what some of you were asking for.
