Re: TF Flash Game
At this point, it is doubtful.
I ran out of motivation and creativity a long time ago with this project, which is typically the case with everything I do. I was too overambitious from the start with all ten stages, so just pretend they never existed and merely enjoy the sprites I posted on page 6 as a "could have been" thing that never really would have been. Though the code Tolka wrote for me allowed the creativity I had for some stages to improve dramatically, I still lacked at least 90% of the ideas necessary to make them into complete stages. And as I said before, most of the time spent working on this project is trying to get the animation looking right. If anyone else with Flash knowledge wants to take it over or adapt their own game based on my code, then be my guest. |

Re: TF Flash Game
Well, if people gave you ideas, would you? :/ I mean, it looks really promising. One more thing, I tried viewing the sprites, and I got an error. Then I tried saving it to my computer and viewing it then, but it was horrible quality. Any ideas?

Re: TF Flash Game
I don't know why some people cannot open PNG files.
Try opening it in Internet Explorer. If that doesn't work, try IrfanView. As for the rest of the stages, I'll think about it while I'm gone, but I'm not making any promises. |

Re: TF Flash Game
It's not that I can't open them, it's just that they're small and blurry. I don't know how to fix them.

Re: TF Flash Game
A quiz transformation game, the more mistakes you make, the more you transform into an animal/ monster/ girl/ whatever.

Re: TF Flash Game
Kinda thought about that one, though after thinking more on it and the intended audience, it would almost be better to make it that you have to get questions right. The only problem with a quiz game is that most of the time, questions are manually entered in and there's a limit to the number of them, so repetition becomes a huge problem.
Also, for those wondering why it's been over a month since I finished three of the seven final levels in the last stage, it's because I've been extremely busy. I still am, actually. The likelihood of this getting finished anytime soon has dropped from "maybe" to "doubtful". I might upload the whole game as it is now just so I can say it's done. And honestly, other than for completeness' sake, what would be the point of the last four levels? I ran out of unique ways to work the animations after the first two and just basically took a half-and-half approach to the third one to make it look at least a little unique. If it didn't take hours of fighting with Flash to make it work, it would be more approachable. Flash just bugs me too much and I almost wish I had made it in another program, even though I don't know any others with the versatility of Flash. |

Re: TF Flash Game
Well, here's a random scenario. More a long the lines of "Use this, or use this or do this." kind of game. For example, you wandered into a room outside a hallway you need to get to, but: "The air that you can see through the glass is very yellow and hazy. Probably pollen.
A: Go through B: Look around the room C: Go through the room as quick as possible. Or something. I dunno. |
