About the Sun: If the Sun is about 100 times the size of the Earth (making the Earth the size of her fingertip if she's the same size as the Sun), then the scale would be about right.

Actually, you are correct. I forgot that something more more massive does not automatically mean it is much bigger. The sun is about 108.5 times bigger than Earth. Sorry about that error.
