The whole thing about Changes going into paranoid-lockdown mode
was because Something Awful fans and others were coming onto the
site and loading it up with hundreds of spam interactive posts.Unless
you can find someone willing to vouch for you,I doubt those already
in will put their own reputation on the line for strangers.

Isn't that what IP bans are for?

I hardly see where the logic comes from to deny accounts because lowtax and the goons came and spammed. I suppose if you dont want to page through all of it and just quickfix it, but....

In other news, they found carrot rukia, it was the funniest damn reaction I've ever seen. Hope the owner of the site didn't have any trouble there though.

It was actually just one guy who spammed it a bunch and then left. That guy's long gone but Changes still won't let people register.

The place isn't much worth the effort anyway, though. Not unless you dig lots and lots of gay donkeys, anyway.

For some reason I can no longer get to cyoc from my computer, the only explanation left is that I was banned for something.

It's pretty bad about that over there.. sometimes the word donkey has to be in every sentence for some reason.. sometimes 3 times in one sentence. One day I'll quote some examples of the extreme cases.

There is more then enough quality work to find there. Sure, there is quite some crap but there's also very good stuff there.
For example, the PG-13 section is quite good. Not that much crap.

Don't you only have to have a login account to write stories? If you just want to read them, you don't have to have one.

Actually, I think the only problem with CYOC is Kevin Rooste/Adobe Fatts/whatever-he-feels-like-calling-himself-today. It's got to be the same writer doing the gay donkey stuff over and over again because his grasp of English (or lack thereof) is so indicative of it being the same writer using different names. It's fine if the gay donkey stuff is your cup of tea, but over 50% of the stories have that theme.
