"Loosely"? Hahahaha...

They're basically palette-swaps, all madly in love with his marty-stu character. Might make for quick, easy stories, but it's the narrative equivalent of spam.

It's like all those sonic characters you see where they take sonic and colour him green and maybe give him an extra spike.

It's as SoylentOrange said, it's Mary-sue (Gary-Sue in this case) at it's worst, especially since the character they're all madly in love with is GreatDragon himself.
