RP Forums Reminder - At Bottom of Forum Page, There Are Some Great RPs!?

Ohyeah!

I noticed that there seem to be a number of great Role Play forums at the bottom of this great site! But I don't know which ones are active and I hesitate to read pages and pages of RP, if they are pretty much inactive and unloved. lulz

Can someone tell me which are really active and give a synopsis? I think this will energize the RPs and help people who are considering joining in, but are hesitant. Or are they pretty much exclusive?

Well, the constant shuffling of the RP Forums' location has kinda killed things for the moment.

Even the popular anime/insanity based ones have largely gone fallow.

Plus I'd argue that being at the bottom of the page doesn't encourage the casual interest which gets people started.

I've been wanting to join one of the RPs here, but quite frankly the sheer size of the active ones is a bit offputting when it's been going on that long, you just don't know what to do. I might join TF the World though, seeing as you're being all welcoming.

EDIT- I can't seem to find a signup thread. Probably me just being blind. Could you link it please?

A guide to which ones are active would definitely help. I was under the impression that TF the world was the only one doing anything since the dates on the others seemed to go back a bit last I looked.

Whatever happened to Skiff? He was one of the bettter RPers and I haven't seen an update in forever.

And he's left us hanging with Double Ecstasy Helix for... well, must be getting toward years... but that's neither here nor there.

I suppose I feel I should mention the Dawn of Genesis MUSH while I'm here...

It's not perfect - getting used to the commands can take a while - and it's not for everyone but I think that for some people who may want more instant gratification, it's probably worth a shot... well, if you can get used to the commands.
