Up&Down (Interactive Story)

*sighs* People JUST have to be greedy.

Happy Birthday joe. I hope you don't let your pink eye ruin your day.

You raise the Twin Stone above your head and then throw it as hard as you can on the ground. As expected, it shatters into hundreds of pieces. Unexpectedly, released a large red flash. "Y...You BRAT!" Bollard yells as you watch a faint red light travel towards Elise. "Garus!"
Garus pulls a pistol from his coat and fires at you.





The seat is toppled over. You are breathing heavily. There is blood on the floor. Your blood? It has to be. You are dying.......funny....you don't feel that bad. You look up and see Bollard with an extremely angry but surprised look on his face. "Im-----Impossible! The fool!" Even Garus looks shocked as he stands there with his gun smoking. Then....There is a man standing above you. It's...Jack. He's standing above you clutching his chest. He was....bleeding? You check yourself, not a bullet wound anywhere. That means that Jack-
"How." said Garus to Jack. "How did you get out of your-"
"No honor among thieves, eh?" Jack says with a pained smile. He looks at you. "Kid, it's your turn now. You get little lady out of here, 'kay?" And with that he slumped over.

"That fool..." Bollard says as he turns around. "Garus! Kill the child."
Garus stares at Jack's limp body on the table, looking as though he is contemplating something. He takes he gun, aims it at you. You eyes meet for what seems like minutes, his cold eyes looking into yours. He then puts the gun back in his coat. "Sorry, Boss. I quit." He says and starts to walk towards the door.
"What!? Get back here! KILL HIM!" Bollard yells after him. "Why are you going?"
"I don't need to tell yous that. You're not my boss anymore, Boss." he said exiting the building.
"GET BACK HERE, GARUS! GARUS!!!" The door closes. "Fine I'll just have to kill the little worm myself!" He says walking your way. "Pathetic man trying to save this pathetic little-"

POW! Bollard flies across the room. You over to see a giant arm. "Elise!" you yell happily. Elise was able to break another arm out of her binding constraints. Soon she was up on her knees, towering thirty feet tall....on her knees?! She was pretty huge, alright. "You're OK!"
"Yep! I feel better than ever!" She then looks down at herself. "Wow. When did I get this big?" She asks. Then her eyes open really wide. "Kyaaaaa! What are you looking at Tom?!" She says trying to hide her privet areas. "You little pervert!"
You are about to argue that now is not the best time for this discussion when a few more men enter the room. Elise quickly spots them and simply flicks them across the room, knocking them unconscious. "Y-you!" Says a voice from the other side of the room. You and Elise look over (well, Elise looks down) to see Bollard, and he looks raving mad. "You two! You are going...to pay for.... this! No one crosses.....Gabriel Bollard!" He said and erupted into insane laughter.
"Give me a break." Elise says and picks him up.
"What?! What are you doing?! Put me down!" Elise then took some of the wire that was used to hold her down and wrapped it around him. She made sure he was secure and then tied the wire to the ceiling, letting him dangle in mid air. Bollard squeaked.
"Not so tough now, huh?" Elise said. The then proceeded to tie each of the other men up with him. "There!" she said giving them a little push so they swung a little. Bollard was speechless for once, and about on the verge of crying.

"So what do we have for clothes around her?" Elise said looking about.
"WE DON"T HAVE TIME FOR THAT ELISE!" You say picking up Jack the best you can.
"What the...JACK! Oh no! Is he dead?!" Elise says quickly, but gently picking you both up.
"He has a pulse, but we need to get to a doctor right away!"
"Well then hold on!" Elise said as she busted though a wall. Outside it was dark and there were more warehouses. You have a good view from Elise's hand of the area. You must be...30 to 35 feet high? That means Elise is about 45 feet tall or---snap out of it! You got to figure out where you are. You survey your surroundings. A rocky beach, some trees. You must be west of town.
"Elise! I think that road leads to Amberton General! It should take us about twenty minutes if we-" Elise starts sprinting in the direction you pointed. You make it there in five minutes. "OK. Put me down and let me take Jack in! You can hide in the woods."
"But-....OK." Elise says and she puts you down.
You rush Jack into the hospital. "Someone help! This man was shot!"



An hour later you find Elise lying on her belly the best she can in the forest behind the hospital. "Will he be OK?" she asks softly.
"Jack's a lucky guy." You say back. "The bullet didn't make it to far in. Got stuck in his rib. A little higher and it would have punctured his lung. He'll be alright."
"Good." Elise said and lowered her head. The ground by her face was muddy. She must have been crying. "Do you think it was a good idea we left those bad men back at the warehouse?"
"Sure. I called the cops inside and told them to check out the place. I bet the place was full of enough evidence to send Bollard to jail for a long time."
"What if he tells them about me?"
"He said it himself" you say as you look in her eyes. "Who's gonna believe him?"
"What about that mysterious guy at the collage?" she asked. "Are they gonna catch him?"
"I don't know." You say, "I hope so...but even if he gets away, I don't think he'll come after us. He has no reason to."
"Hmmm..." Elise mumbles. "I hope you're right."
"Since when have I been wrong?" You elbow her. She giggles and pushes you over with her pinky finger. You both laugh and poke at each other, which was easy for Elise, but you were practically punching Elise's walls of flesh. You fall over out of breath and lean up against Elise's arm. "You know...El....I've, uh...I've always kind of liked you a little..." you say, regretting that you said them a second later. Stupid!
"Well, I..." Elise says blushing. "I kind of like you a little to."
"R-really?"
"Why else would I stick with you all these years?" She added with a giggle. "You're kinda annoying at times."
"Uh-bu-hu-hickity-" You stammer out.
"You look tired." she said as she lifted you up and put you on her shoulder. "You can sleep up here tonight." she whispered and then yawned the biggest yawn in history. "Just no funny business or I'll-"
"I know, I know." you say, knowing the temptation was great, but an angry Elise was was greater. You cuddle up next to her neck. She giggles a little but settles down.
"Good night." she says and closes her eyes.
"Good night." you say, using a little bit of her hair as a blanket. You soon drift off to sleep...

"Hey, Tom! Breakfast is ready!" You wake up. Not the best way to be woken up but-
"OK! I'll be out in a second!" You yell back. You wanted to check your email. Hmmm...You got something from your parents saying that they hoped you and Elise were having a good time in collage. Well....you did take some classes...Elise took some online when she could...but you kind of have a side project that you thought was a bit more important. What else was did you get...Oh! A report that showed Bollard in handcuffs being dragged to prison. The headline read "Insane Director Finally Sentenced for 30 Years." Good! You remember being a witness. Bollard had gone completely cuckoo when you entered the court, screaming threats to you and ranting about giant freak and magic. You wonder how he wasn't convicted that day.
What else?...The museum is having an exhibit called "Rogue's Corner." Jack must have convinced them to do that. When Jack got better, he went back to the museum to apologize for breaking the stone. The new director, Emma Fahne, apparently was an admirer of Jack. She considered him heroic for helping testify against Bollard (seems he didn't have to many friends...go figure) and loved romantic novels full of masked thieves and such. They hit it off right away, and Miss Fahne dropped all charges. She was even the first person to hire the "Sly Security Consulting Agency," AKA the project that took up so much of your free time. Your office was actually just down the hall. You should really clean it.

With your mail out of the way, you decide to go to the dining room, which doubled as the kitchen, which tripled as the living room, which quadrupled as Elise's room. When you and Jack decided to add a giant room to your rather remote office, many of the workers asked what it was for. Jack said for training and you said for storage. The person would always walk away confused as you and Jack smiled.
"Well good morning, sleepyhead!" Elise chimes as you walk in.
"Hey." you say and look at the table before you. It looked like someone decided to cook a bunch of eggs, french toast, and pancakes, but burned most of of it and mixed it all together. "Uh....d-did you cook this?"
"Yep!" she said with a smile. "Cuz today is a special day. It's our 4 month anniversary!" You stare at her. "You remember, right?"
"U-uh...sure. But that night 4 months ago wasn't really us becoming boyfriend-girlfriend officially..." you say scratching your head.
"It's the thought that counts." Elise says back quickly. "So eat up!"
You look at the large bowl, "It's OK. I'm not that hungry."
"Woah, kid!" You hear Jack say as he enters the room. "You know it's not easy for little lady to cook this kind of stuff. And she made it..."h e turns his head to you dramatically, "with Love! I'll take a bowl of the stuff. Looks interesting!" he says sitting down.
"Here y'go, Jack!" Elise chirps. "Come on, Tom. You want some right." She said giving you puppy dog eyes.
"OK,OK!" You sit down and Elise whips you up a big bowl of the....breakfast soup? Ug...It was for Elise though...

"Oh! Almost forgot to tell you kids!" Jack says suddenly sitting up. "We got another taker for the "Sly Challange!"
"Really?" you ask. "How much?"
"Some rich guy bet us we couldn't break into his place and steal some statue." He takes a big swig of coffee. "He bet us 10,000 bucks we couldn't!"
"Wow! Really?!" Elise exclaimed.
"That...that is a lot of money!" you say rather stupidly. "He must be pretty confident we can't get in."
"Yeah...he says he has a state-of-the-art system or something..." Jack says with little interest. "But we gotta do this one! Think of what we could do with the money! I mean, it's not easy feeding a growing girl and all..." Elise giggles.
"OK, well, good work with that." you say. "I got classes."
"No time for that! We gotta plan our heist!"
"We?! Why can't YOU!"
"You know I'm not good at this stuff, kid." he said with a slight frown. "Besides, you planned all the other ones. All those went smoothly!"
"I-I can't!" you stammer out. "There's school and tests and..."
"Come on, Tom! Don't be a stick in the mud!" Elise smiles at you. She then leans over and whispers to you, "If you do it, we can do something extra special for our four-month anniversary!"
"Gulp.......Weeeeeeell. One or two classes don't really matter...."
"YES!" Jack cheers. "Good going, little lady!"
"I know!" she smiled back.
"Alright, alright," you blush. Jack was turning both you and Elise into criminal masterminds it seemed.

"Team Sly, lets get to work!"

(Hope you all like this story. I kind of enjoyed writing everything for it and I find the characters interesting, even if most of them came up by accident! it was fun to create.)

That was wonderfully told and illustrated. I was hoping there would be something between Elise and Tom before it was over.

And Illun, there were time when the story could have gone in that direction, but people chose a different thing or I just decided not to put in some sex. Besides It probably would have ended up something like this...

Actually, I meant a relationship and that they had when I said that.

^ That's what I was looking for, not sex. I have a little hopeless romantic in me that wanted to see boyfriend/girlfriend, and I was happy with that scene.
