Crazy dog...lady...thing... aside, you should be taking a look at stellar.

The only reason you shouldnt be is if you dont like the muscle growth or the mowhawk, or if its just not enough height for you. So there are several reasons. The last one even had a mini BE sequence.

I miss the way She Hulk was drawn a few months ago by Juan Bobillo and Paul Pelletier. She had huge muscles. Now they're back to tracing supermodels and spray painting them green. Boooorrrrriiiing.

Lightbulb interesting idea

But first, what's wrong with Yahoo groups?? I mean, if you call a lack of updates bad management, well, then I'd say any free site is badly managed! But it's not, and free sites are special things.

They prime the neophyte to eventually spend money....me, for example, I'm on the scene 5 or 6 years now and I have finally commissioned an artist! It;s my first, but I don't think it will be my last. I feel good about supporting him, and I plan to share it with all of you...

All She-Hulk group, huh? I think I might give this a shot...I have sort of a knack for archiving and organizing, but none of the knowledge to make a good website. The problem is there's soooo much material out there and already a handful of She-Hulk groups. Naturally, I would only include the stuff that has good TF/Growth/Clothes-shhhrrred in it because that's just what I'm into. Hmmm...I can see it now...a Photos section with folders for each different artist, links to the other She-Hulk groups where certain great artists make their home, and a files section for some other media,...cartoon clips, poser renditions.....HMMMMM....

Of course, I'd be securing permission for every single work that isn't public domain...I won't make the mistakes of my youth again.

Anybody into this idea?

I'd probably create the site first with bare minimum content, show it's a stable entity, then worry about attracting/seeking permission from the big names.

Oh no no no, it's all about promotion. The best reception happens when you pack the site first, to the very brim, THEN start promoting at other groups and places like this board. If a member stumbles onto a packed site for the first time, he'll NEVER leave, even if updates are sparse, just because the site is full of stuff as it is. When I say full, I mean impossible to take in in one sitting full. That was the concept behind the ripping zone, aside from the choice of content of course, and that seemed to have succeeded.

Consider the "tell us about yourself" line. Very few things ward away spammers as effectively.

And if there is one thing that kills a group, its spammers. (one more thing, good luck)

Thanks, funk-o. Spamming isn't really that big of a deal though. Now yahoo tells you what's new during the week in the groups menu for each group, so I check my groups everytime I see something new. If it's a spam, I delete it and ban the author, a simple 2 minute procedure. Sure, sometimes it piles up when I get lazy, but I quickly learned that these people don't come all at once. It's one by one and they accumulate and NEVER go away. So, one comes up, I shoot it down, on an as needed basis.

Heh, you'll know when this is done.
