New Visitors Series on ABC

Hey guys, I was entering youtube's homepage and on the little featured bar I saw the ad for the new "Visitors" series airing tonight at 8/7 central.

Upon research I found that this was a remake of the original 80's series.

I looked at the photos and it looks like the old show had some process of the "visitors" revealing themselves.

I can only hope there will be at least some process involved, but being it abc, I don't think we'll see much. But we can hope.

Here's a little insight I took from the sight.

It's wasn't really process per se. They just wore fake human skin to cover their reptilian skin. There were no TFs involved.

The original series was quite fascinating...Will be interesting to see how they butcher it......

Based on the nine minute preview on ABC's web site they'll be butchering it with terrible actors. Fewer of them too, with only 12 main characters compared to the miniseries' 22, so there will be a smaller body count as well. I doubt there will be any kind of process material, but if you want to watch the space hooker from firefly eat a hamster you're in luck!

I guess the hairstyles and overacting could only improve with time....

It wasn't bad at all. I enjoied it quite throughly and the fact that it's got a few cast members from Firefly doesn't hurt it either. Not really any process in the pilot, and the aliens only appear to be wearing human skin over their reptilian skin. It's a cool effect, but not really process.

Just saw the first episode last night, I have to say I'm intrigued It's a cool premise with decent CGI, the acting on the part of the mother and her daughter seems a little iffy but the Firefly hooker is pretty great. Also:
WASH! OH GOD WAAAAASSSSH WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!?

I was so thinking the same thing! Looks like Wash will still be around, Just, uh... well not as the character he was playing before.

Well we can't give up on possibly seeing any process just yet. Maybe one of the people will turn to a reptillian?

But still, this is just a peak, I'm gonna keep my eye on this show just in case. The plot seems sort of interesting, lots of backstories and intertwining going on. Sorta like the show "Heroes" or "Lost".

I remember that there was a couple close to processy things from the original series though...I forget if there was any actual body changes and if it was just mental but the Visitors had a "Conversion" chamber to brainwash...not sure if the body changed at all. Also one of the characters had a child that ended up being half human...Not sure if that'll stick with the new series though. My memories of both the ones I mentioned are kinda old since I last watched V on repeats when I was like 12 off of SciFi.

As I stated already, they already are reptilian, just with a fake layer of skin. It's not processes imho if they're just taking off skin as one would take off their shoes and socks.
