Glad you enjoyed it! The nightmare was the biggest challenge to write, but the most enjoyable.

Concerning Alex's mother... this is the first time she has appeared in the story, and, yes, that is a "nightmare version" of her. It is intentionally frightening.

One slight note: Alex did not turn back into a male. Remember, they did not actually consummate, and in Chapter 5, Ultormiglok explains that he prevented it.

As for Alex's ultimate fate, you shall simply have to wait until the final climatic chapter. :-)
