Congratulations.....I have to admit i admire what you did here...But unfortunatly most of the guys here are right...It is an uphill battle that in the long run you'll epically fail to win here...The most you've done here is rattle the cage a bit....But i promise you that in a month or so once the heat's off them.... They'll go back to doing it again doublefold and this time around you won't stop them...you've acheived nothing here.... I'm sorry but it's true....Now i'm not trying to bust your chops here...Like i said i admire what you did here...It took guts to do this and to get folk to go along with this...I respect that...But that site is just one of many of hundreds out there doing this too...Are you going to take them on too?....Are you going to hunt them down and report them?
And while we at it... What about folks who illegaly downloads music for free using a p2p software like limeware thus Ripping off the music industry...Or folks who scans comic books and post them to download for free which in turn gives the comic book industry a black eye in sales....What about them?.....There's a lot of it out there..Too much if you ask me....And it's going to take a hell of a lot more than a rattled cage to get the point across that this has got to stop.

Now please don't be mad here...I really do admire what you did...You have my respects always... But i'm just telling you what you're up against here.

Whut? That post was long and pointless.

Gist of it is "good job fighting piracy, but your efforts meant nothing" with some patronizing bullshit like "it took guts to get folks to go along with this." Like somehow this was some new movement to take down paid work.

Were not here to fight the evils of piracy and music, however we support paying for the content that is readily and easily available from people who do the work, because if we give them money, they will hopefully make more stuff thats worthwhile. This wasn't some great moral crusade, more like pragmatism and a kind of unwritten (or is it written somewhere?) rule of this forum, to respect BE, GTS, or whatever other stuff there is on here authors when we can.

Wherever there is paid content their is someone who wants to get cred by posting it on a free site, just like movies, music and everything else. Sometimes the little things help, and sometimes its just pointless, it all depends on the people that do something about it. If you really are adamant on taking down be story club stuff go here
