Gary,

This latest growth vid is a great step in, for my tastes, the right direction. It's really amazing to witness how far you've come since the first GD videos where your girls were just standing in front of that drop cloth set wearing an oversized white t-shirt and flip flops. I can give you nothing but great praise for listening to the community and adapting to make your product the best that you can.

You vids have definitely evolved and I hope they continue to evolve as you grow in your experience.

I love the incremental, small stages of growth. And, I love that you're using yourself as a comparison for height. This is my favorite type of growth, slower and in little bursts. If you can do more like this, with maybe a few extra stages (none that would necessarily be clothes bursting, but clothes tightening), that'd be awesome. This is the reason the Ali growth vid, #83, is my favorite. She grows like 4 different times.

I like the shots of the arms out growing the sleeves and the ankles of the pants riding up the legs. But I believe you can sell the growth more if you can compare it to something stationary in the background or foreground. This is something BUD/Taylor are really good at in their videos. The usually use a photo on the wall or something and have the actress slowly slide up past the object. One thought might be, if you're doing more growth in front of the lab table, shoot stationary across the lab table and have the girl slowly rise in the background. More than just going on her toes. Maybe have her start from a slight kneeling position or something. Bud/Taylor seem to have a device that they use to raise their actresses on.

Having said that, here are some things I've noticed in your videos that I feel can help sell the illusion of the larger women:

For most of your videos, I can see where you're trying to use the forced perspective effect. However, this effect won't work if we can see one of the ladies feet. Or your feet (when the larger woman is closer the camera).

Also, you might get a better illusion if you have the two folks talk in profile, as though the are standing parallel with the back wall. Right now, you normally have them talking facing each other, so we get a 3/4 profile of the lady in back of the room, and 3/4 back of the head of the "grown" woman. If you have them both turn so they're facing profile, then the large girl will look more in line with the smaller girl, rather than close to the camera. (Note, this will only work if we can't see either girl's feet).


You did this well in the Growth dreams with Alli. Here you're both looking "at" each other, at least, it appears you are.


And you can't see either of your feet, so the audience can't tell that you're not necessarily the same distance from the camera (though, you're faking the illusion you are).

While in Growth Dreams 87, the actress clearly has her back turned to us and you're facing us, when, ideally, you both should be parallel to the back wall. Also, we can see your feet and can't see hers alerting us to the fact that you're not the same distance away from the camera.



Don't be afraid to cheat the table a bit closer to camera and have your actress stand in front of it. With a mask, you can make it look like she's standing behind it. I'm not sure what editing program you use, I'd guess Premiere because you encode everything in .wmv. If you have After Effects, you can use a simple mask around the table making the illusion that she is behind the table too. I think this'd really sell the size difference a lot better, along with both of you looking profile at each other.

I realize this might be hard for the actress to perform, because she actually wouldn't be looking at the other actress while filming, but heh, if Elijah Wood can do it, I'm sure anyone can.

Also, I've noticed in your latest vids, your jumping across "the line" a lot. Try to make sure and follow 180 degree rule. Visually it makes the movies a lot better and easier to follow. I'm sure you're probably doing it because of shooting space reasons, but, you're a clever fellow, you can work a way around.

Ah yes. That would be Darenzia standing with her back (pleasantly) towards the camera in the screen cap just below Alli's. It's been awhile since we've seen them grow again. Any possibility of either one returning to shoot another growth clip with you, Gary?

I can agree with jamball's suggestions, but I feel inclined to point out that some of these models have very nice asses and it'd be a shame not to get to see them...

Nor I, good sir. In fact, I would like to see Darenzia in a growth clip with a longer skirt-ripping segment. Have the skirt slowly tear along her lower to upper thigh, and straight up the center of her ass. That, IMO, would be "off the chain". Any thoughts on this suggestion?

Shooting a growth with her later today. My assistant already has the clothes so I do not know if it is a skirt. Most likely not. I will still try to do a rip as you described.

The Giantess City is throwing around the idea of me doing a transference clip with the guy shrinking while girl grows. This would obviously be a Growth/Giantess clip as opposed to the usual growth/Giantess/SW clip..

I wanted to get some thoughts on this. I would focus more on the growth scenes and keep the guy shrinking process scenes brief.

Well, you won't get much enthusiasm for anything involving shrinking men on the board, I can tell you that. However, if the growth part of it is well done (and if the guy doesn't get a lot of screen time) I expect we'll still appreciate the clip.

I second this, if it is done, keep the amount guy shrink screen time to a minimum.

Uh, don't you mean Alfred Hitchcock? Spike doesn't put himself in his movies, at least not that I've seen.

I'm fine with a shrinking man, just as long as the growth part is well documented and there are a lot of side-by-side or over-the-shoulder before and after comparisons.
