Re: More BE for your Buck

Yes, you can save the comics to your computer. They aren't pdf files, so you have to save each page individually, making it harder to save all the comics.

Is it worth a month's subscription? Yes... but only about your first time. Pay for a month, download all the comics, then wait a year or 2 and pay the fee again and download all the updates.

So if you haven't ever subscribed, I would suggest subscribing.

Re: More BE for your Buck

I found BESC skewed a little too much into giantess/muscle stuff, as well as other things that I am not really into

I'm not close-minded or anything, but paying money for a niche place and getting something else instead is kind of irksome

Does anybody know if the Giantess Club's title list is also freely accessible and if so do they have a link?

On the credit card bill part why not get one of those prepaid credit card gift cards? that's what I use and we all have seperate accounts on computer plus I keep my items of interest under a folder for "Administrative Purposes" no one bothers with that area so doubly safe

Funny, a lot of people moan about it being all mind control.

The filter of perception, me thinks.

Re: More BE for your Buck

Skimmed the thread, so maybe someone mentioned it and I missed it. One fairly simple solution would be to subscribe, d/l to a DVD-R and burn them all on one (actually a CD-R would fit everything from the BESC unless they have a lot more there now - time for my annual re-sub soon).

Something like that would be fairly easy to store surreptitiously if necessary.

Reviving this thread to follow up: another point in the BESC's favor is that, when you attempt to cancel a BESC membership, it actually gets canceled.

The first problem with the Expansion Comics cancellation procedure is that they want your account password sent to them in plain text.

Aside from that, though: their only point of contact is a web form, which I have attempted to use several times to cancel, and all I get back is an automated reply saying a human response will be coming in 24-48 hours. I've never gotten the human response; responding to the email address from which the automated reply emanates only yields an identical automated reply.

So I'm filing a dispute with my credit card. Only problem is, since I had to attempt to cancel via a web form, I don't have a copy of an outgoing email to "prove" that I shouldn't have been charged after a certain date; I only have the generic automated reply.

I really hope this doesn't get to the point where the bank needs to call me for more information about the dispute, and I have to discuss my fetishes with someone on the phone.

Well you could always have your credit card number changed. That would fix that right there. I mean seriously, annoying but still. This is why I like CCbill, they cancel things within a day at the longest.

Re: More BE for your Buck

I guess from the fact that you mention the BESC and Expansion Comics you are mainly looking for a comic provider. However, if you're looking for just stories I know another site; http://www.rte23.org/

Someone mentioned ala carte, and RTE is. You pay for whatever individual story you like, rather than paying a subscription. The story selection is rather small at the moment.

What?

They both use CCBill. The account cancellation is exactly the same for both of them (I've been subscribed to both).

If there's a link to CCBill on Expansioncomics, I didn't see it -- I was trying to do things "their way," which seems to be using this form.
