Nope. The way it goes is that politicians pass borderline majority proposals a good amount of time before their terms are up, and said policies won't go into effect until AFTER the second voting. It provides a buffer for us low-attention-span Americans to forget it happened as it slips out of the news media and other, probably friendlier, issues are brought into the light. Why do you think he was in such a rush to pass it now? Cuz it's the best time to do it!

Thats the problem with our government. Its the damn two party system we have. We don't have a congress, we have a bunch of old farts you bicker at each other. They represent their parties more than they represent their own states! I say we abolish the two party system and remind them who pays their damn salaries! That and we need to have a term limit.

By extension, so is the economy of the rest of the world. God help us if any foreign nation we owe lots of money to (that is, nearly all of them) ever tries to collect... Hey, don't go around saying shit like this, man, you'll make people nervous.

My main issue with this health care act is the health insurance mandate. Because, you know, I don't have enough financial liabilities every month; what I really needed was one more bill to have to pay.

No body is going to ever collect cause everyone owes everyone something. Look at Greece: they are close to filing for bankruptcy.

If anyone tried to collect, you'd see alot of itchy fingers on the nuclear launch buttons...

Something few people point out... I suppose healthcare reform IS a bigger and more long last cultural thing but the way FOX and teabaggers goes on about it, you'd think it was more about the sacrifice of first born children... no, not abortion, the Biblical kind.

I hope it works out... the UK has moaned about the NHS for decades but it hasn't done wrong by me or my family. I hate to think of the potential medical bills by sister could have incurred in the USA...

But I'm sure a lot of people will hold their misspelt signs in protest at something that might actually benefit them because if you don't agree with anything else in this post, you should agree that most people are stupid.
