Interesting the discussion that BE sequence generated! I had a lot more trouble with the mangled English than any of the picture content! In fact, I didn't even notice that the characters were non-human. If they're mostly-human looking and not grotesque, it's all pretty OK with me. No hermaphrodites, though, thank you very much. I grew up with the whole Disney cartoon menagerie, so anthropomorphic ducks and mice seem pretty normal. The fetish/porn versions aren't much of a stretch.

Is what furries make me think about.. O.o
I think furries in general are okay yup. But I also believe that some people started drawing furries because they couldn't draw a human-like face very well.. the major part in particular would be the nose.. and those ears on the side of the head, so they go furry.. easy to draw nose.. easy to place ears.. and if their face is a skew in some way..people typically don't see it cause they're more intuned to looking at human faces..

The ONLY time I get slightly irritated at viewing a fuzzy is when they try to use the fact that they are half-animal as an excuse to make a 'nature documentary'.. eeeewww XP

*claps* Well said.

Personally, not only is it the furry porn that I'm sickened by, but kinda the general furry stuff too. Now, if they're portrayed as animal people in RPGs or something, they can be kinda cool, but when they try posing off as people, wearing normal clothes, hanging out with normal humans, going to school, getting jobs, etc... It just goes too far (to me) to try make these animal-humans into normal humans.

First they're going to school, then they're doing furry porn.

*kills it with fire*

(but, I don't hate people who are into furries. heck, I'm great friends with an anthro artist. it helps that he doesn't draw anthro all the time and when he does, a lot of it is cool RPG-style, not the type I mentioned above.)

The only things that really worry me are the Nazifurs and Babyfurs...and Nazibabyfurs....

*Hides in the closet with his shotgun again, gibbering.*

(The whole point of not tolerating intolerance being hypocrisy doesn't seem to make much sense though. If you tolerate intolerance, people then feel further justified in their intolerance, and then you get buildings being blown up, crosses burned, and brutal murderings on Al-Jazeera.)

You forgot about the half-women, half sharks who won't even sleep with me. Thanks a lot, God.

You don't want them, their skin will scour you raw if you rub them the wrong way. Sure it seems fun at first, then you wake up bleeding and looking like you slept with a cheese grater instead!

I've been thinking... would people with angel wings be classified around the category of "furry"? You know... where do you draw the line of something being furry, and something just a person who looks wierd?
Example: Zidane in a final fantasy game had a monkey tail.. but didn't look like a friggin monkey? would he be a "furry"?.... O>o
I personally wouldn't think so..........@.@

Humans with animal characteristics are not furries. That includes catgirls and kitsune.

Animals such as mice or foxes that look human and have other human characteristics are furries.

Besides of all the opinions on with or against furries, I still think this thread is about on Rafael's work. That is why I'm informing about his latest work he did on DA. I introduced my characters to Raf. He like Grape so much that he did a comic page on her. Here it is and enjoy.

My furry hate goes only towards those who claim they ARE furries, and that they are a 'wolf spirit incarnate' or other such bullshit. Anthro, for the most part (as long as there is sufficient humanoid T&A), is very much tolerable by me.

The thing I don't like is when people lump all furries as the guys that put on fursuits and yiff. That's one extreme, very few people are actually like that. It's the equivelent of saying all Star Trek nerds speak fluent Klingon. I find nothing wrong with furry ART, but anything beyond that grosses me out. Same as Philcotv, I grew up watching Disney movies and playing games like Sonic the Hedgehog, so anthropomorphs aren't a big stretch of the imagination.
