Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
I'm a bit confused, if whether or not this site is allowing non-process material now-a-days.
So either tell me what you know, or how you feel the site should be... and hopefully we can put this debate to rest. In my definition, process material means it is a sequence going from point A to point B... or somewhere inbetween. (ie. Flat woman to a big boobed woman) Non-process material is just Point B. (ie. a big boobed woman)

There is no debate. I seen an entire thread deleted yesterday because there was no process in it so....
Yeah I guess.... /thread |

Then perhaps Lorekeep should put some sort of notice up on this issue, and artists shouldn't be surprised when their art is criticized for no process... as I see this debate come up like every day.

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
I understand for that for TG it's a little hard to determine process, because from what I understand reaction is key. But for most other fetishes it's clear. If the lady stays the whole height throughout the comic/manga there's no process. If there is no sequence but the character is visibly in the middle of the change with a believable reaction, that is considered process.

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
I'm referring to posts/artwork/threads that have the subject already changed.
For example, should a drawing of a woman with large breasts in a tight/ripped top with a surprised look on her face be considered process and allowed here? Another example, this is a drawing of my OC (not done by me), her breasts arent this big usually/normally... Should this be considered BE and allowed here? (Apologies for .png) That is the kind of stuff that I keep seeing arguments about and artists surprised/dissapointed when their art isn't 'appreciated'. Last edited by Katt; 04-23-2010 at 07:40 AM. |

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
I've seen the entire forum "cleaned" before just to weed out the lack of process.
I know I must sound bad for saying this, but we have to have some standards to set us apart from other sites. I know how you feel about this because I've created/found things without process before and was sad that I couldn't share them with my friends here. I didn't focus on it or become bitter, instead I posted it on my DA and other boards that welcome it and moved on. Last edited by LOD; 04-23-2010 at 08:07 AM. |

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
In the BE forum I can understand the whole 'no process' thing on a lot of levels, simply because that section is already so large that we don't really need content.
However the rest of the sections I feel that 'non-process' could and should be allowed because said sections don't see as much traffic. That and it's also a matter of an image being process-related within reason. If it's fanart of a character or one who is normally depicted having different proportions, a single image can easily be counted as process. And I personally think that any image wherein a character is depicted being of significantly larger proportions than what can be considered normal can count (sans the BE section because that would be an overload).

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
Well, despite what the rules may or may not say, the policy, and Lorekeep's way of handling it, has remained pretty consistent here over the years. If there's blatantly no process, no hint of process, and the thing in question is just your average pic/whatever, it's usually bounced. If the thing in question has no process, but is of a notable producer or high enough quality, or might have related process down the line, it's usually allowed at Lore's discretion. If something hints at before or after of a process and doesn't suck, it's usually considered fine. Etc., just use good judgement.

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
The thread that was deleted wasn't even borderline, it just flat out had nothing to do with any sort of process. Another thread on that subforum has not been deleted even though a few people have said it's barely process related. I guess the difference is that when you look at something you either say 'The process aspect could be improved' or 'you could add process material to this'. The former is allowed, the latter isn't.

Re: Is/should non-process material (be) allowed?
I've been mostly uploading non-process stuff recently, and I don't get any problems for it because I make it a point to say there's no process in the thread title.
