Ryu's main focus is the Hadōken, while Ken's is the Shōryū-ken, hence the flames. While they both share these abilities, they've been made noticeably different as the series progressed. And, to have a fight with only the Hadōken, you will get The Legend of Chun Li. |

And did anyone else find it ironically bad that she was taught the Hadouken by Liu Kang? |

Re: Street Fighter: Legacy
Don't get me wrong, I thought this was great. It's fantastic that someone decided to do this and rub it in the faces of Hollywood.
I was glad they included the flaming uppercut, it wouldn't have been Ken without it but that Spinning Kick was terribly done. Maybe with a bigger budget and some more special effects they could have had him stay up in the air for longer. Ken blocked the hadoken pretty unrealistically as well and that last shot where they just jump in the air and sort of make contact with their feet? Was that meant to be them fighting or just showing how high they can jump? But it was an enjoyable 3 minutes. It kicked the Street Fighter movie out of the water anyway. It proves Computer Games can be turned into films which brightens my day. |
