Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series

I remember seeing a post on my frequent entertainment news website about the producer going back to working on the show. I don't think they mentioned a date though, but I do know they had to take a break for another series I think...

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series

My bet's on FOX wanting to rewrite the show to try and bring in the Twilight demographic. True Blood's ratings have been astronomical lately, and network TV has nothing even close in setting to Twilight.

Thanks! If you're right, that's way more than I've heard. I'm a little disappointed it might not be here for the fall, but then again beggars can't be choosers.

Oh dear god I really hope not.

My latest news about it: Mr Dougherty is working on other projects, so he hasn't time to develop Bitches at least until next year. If I have time I'll post the links to the bad news .

Here it is: http://www.shocktilyoudrop.com/news/...s.php?id=11194

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series

I feel kind of bad bumping this topic because there isn't exactly any news related to Bitches, but, what the hell.

Might as well start with Bitches. It's still in limbo, being "kicked around' as of October of last year, although this might be because

Believe it or not FOX has another show about werewolves in the pipeline, and this one might be done for the fall season. This one's called Howl and is about two feuding werewolf families in rural Alaska.

Also in moving picture werewolf news is a new movie currently shooting called Growl. The premise from the mouth of the director himself:

Quote:
It's Fight Club versus werewolves. Two of my favorite things thrown in the ring to see what will come out alive.

In Growl, a traveling underground fight club called 'The Brawlers' arrive at a derelict ghost town tucked away in the Colorado Rockies. They meet the town's only residents, the Maxilla family, who want to buy on to the fight card. But the Maxilla family's true intentions for the Brawler crew is soon revealed in teeth and claws. Some will be hunted, some will be feed, and some will become part of the family whether they like it or not.
Wonderful, yet another idiot who completely missed the point of Fight Club. Anyways Katee Sackhoff of BSG fame (she got naked a couple times on that show right? anyways) is onboard, and while I do expect the movie will feature a whole lotta dudes punching each other, I would be very surprised if there wasn't at least one female werewolf between them. Plus Katee has such a great game face that not putting her in some werewolf makeup would be a crime.

EDIT: well hey, with a little digging I found something else as well. In less than three weeks ABC will start airing The Gates. It's... Desperate Housewives with vampires? Eureka without humor? I have no clue, but the main character's son has a crush on a girl who is currently going steady with a werewolf. Is she a werewolf too? Probably not, but that's never stopped the community from wildly guessing before.

If it's on ABC, it's worthless. Sounds like a crap premise anyway.

I hope this series isn't dead in the water despite the commitment pay.

...clearly you haven't been exposed to the brilliance of "Castle".

Back on topic...no opinion on "The Gates", probably won't watch it.

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series

As I can see on the teaser, there will be only a male werewolf on the series, so forget about a female TF there.

Note: the woman on ithe video is clearly a vampire. Each day my hatred towards vampires grows and grows...

Am I the only one that finds that the two items of interest are called "howl" and "Growl" amusing?
