The dual timeline is the one that makes the most sense from what my own opinion, as it allows for the random differences between some games for the shape of Hyrule. Basically if a world looks vaguely like OOT it's from the "everything is good" past timeline, while if Hyrule looks a little off it is from the "everything isn't good" future timeline because the events of WW have taken place.

Then again Nintendo claims there is no timeline but that feels more like a cop out to me.

as i see it....the WW line was if Link had failed in OoT while MM was the fact he succeeded

all good points but I think we're getting off track here, remember what this thread is for, yea we said we wanted Link in the OoT part of the story but is it gonna be OoT link or is it TP Link and Midna thats joins in we should make that clear now,... unless Magic has decieded already

Honestly I think it's just plain funnier if we have multiple Links; especially given that they all tend to act similar so we'll end up having OOT link trying to act normal with a human Ruto, a giant Nabooru, and a horse like Malon. I'm of course going off the assumption the curse hasn't flipped Saria by then.

I'll just say I'd rather that each Link stay in his own dimension or whatever for now. OoT Link should make an appearance, though. It'd only make things even more hectic, considering he's the Mr. Harem Anime of the series.
