If I knew *anything* about programming or coding, or had someone to help out I would be willing to at least try translating something. Unfortunately there's the caveat that I royally SUCK at kanji, so my first project would have to be something with voice acting. I was considering trying to translate the Yami no Koe games since they fit all the criteria (1) I like it, 2) all the main series games are 90% spoken dialog, 3) While long(ish), they're not mind numbingly long) But again, the big problem is I know *nothing* about coding or programming. Hell I barely know some html ;_; |

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)
So I've been playing DC Online, and to say that villains side is the way to go if you like transformation and corruption is the understatement of the year. The best quest lines are Circe's. But so far this is what I've done just getting to 20.
* Transformed college students into Parasites (like the villain). * Helped infuse people with the essence of the demon Trigon to make them into horned four eyed demonesses (well the females anyway). * Transformed Amazons into Beastimorphs that serve Circe. * Used the black diamonds to make people into "Shadow People" servants of Eclipso. * Used Grodd's de-evolution technology to make people into Gorillas that serve him. And they all have such wonderful dialog "What are you doing to me..." "I feel so empty..." etc, while you change them. Then afterwards often have a maniacal laughter or a swearing of loyalty to their new masters. Still, I highly recommend any corruption players that can play this game as villains, if you do, look up Dr Moreau on New Frontier (PC only, PS3 version is separate servers). It's absolutely delicious, though from a purely aesthetic perspective, the best ones were the Eclipso and Trigon. Oh! And let's not forget the cut scenes for most of these characters, with amazing artwork by Jim Lee often depicting super heroes and heroines in mid transformation in their "idealized reality". And yes, I did help bring Trigon back to the world through Raven. It was awesome evil conversion. Last edited by DrMoreau; 01-23-2011 at 10:48 AM. |

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)
Added you to my friends Kyuven.
Oh, extra note apparently if you start with Circe (I didn't) you get a quest where you "remove people's innocence" making them bad. It's a lead in to the demon conversion one. Does that not scream corruption/evil conversion? Only anti-conversion thing I've had to do is stop Queen Bee and her drones because they are allied with Brainiac. But that just seems hypnosis anyway ![]() |

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the actual effects of the corruption are more prevalent on the hero side of the game. For example, doing the Raven/Trigon quest on the Hero side let's you see Cyborg, Nightwing, Starfire, and Donna Troy all corrupted as Trigon Demons.
