Slut Virus group

I've sort of run out of money for paying for more sequences and consequently have less time to write more fanfiction....my set up for member applications is goofy and it doesn't seem to believe I set it for "anyone can join"

anyway...the basic idea, the infected individuals keep the same basic personality, so they don't turn into evil monsters..."slut virus" is also a slang term since really only women with poor self control would become actual sluts

its closer to say that they start equalling sex with the level of intimacy of a hug, they can still say no (especially if they hate someone) but they're more likely to accept casual flings even "cheating" on someone they do love (though in that case, they should be capable of thinking through "this will hurt X")...unless said lover is ALSO an infected


thinking of doing a novel/short story series based on this idea without copyrighted characters

the unnamed main character is currently thinking going to be a sphinx/librarian type who got reinfected with the vampire set at an early period and so is a sort of diluted sphinx with vampir-ish tendencies

world setting would have about only 10% of the female population vulnerable to casual infection, with the remaining 90% taking real effort to get changed

thinking of these for the races:

Deva(Geisha)

Slut Virus is a poor choice of name, as it implies a virus that causes slutty behavior and none of your ideas really involved that.

I'm also confused as to why you mentioned you ran out of money to commission things, as you asking for people to join your group and pay you? Or are saying their won't be new pictures because your broke and you only commission them?

yeah, working on another name agree with the unfortunate choice of names

also don't want to use mythos virus because lots of other people have already used that....

played with calling them "fantasias" as a play off of "fantasy girls" but eh...


and the mentioning "no money" is the second reason, no new pictures coming...well, unless someone else makes them....wouldn't say no

not as such...when if I do the stories, it'll be sometime after the initial wave of infections for the first part....though might do the as yet unnamed sphinx's infection and such (as the first infection)

I'm planning on changing the name "slut virus" is basically what some of the laborers connected to the movie studio that created it called it, and originally I just did it as a sort of excuse for putting anime characters in sexy cosplay for no particular reason and the concept came out more silly and interesting than that

as indicated some thoughts:

fantasy virus and typecast virus don't really seem to work

virus alone doesn't work

I'm aiming at PG-13 comedic.

Slut Virus kinda worked because of the inappropriate juxtaposition...but not the image I want to give when I go commercial

also, there are some behavior compels but not directly at spreading the disease

at first, the infection can spread aerosol, but humanity adjusts quickly....trying to keep around a 10% pop of fantasy women, with the remainder being immune to casual infection (80% pop) or immune totally (remaining 10%)

for some their compelling behavior would enhance things...for example, sphinxes are really interested and obsessed with riddle competitions....which involves a spiritual connection when they go full out....so a sphinx is more likely to infect a normal without thinking about it by getting into a full competition...which is how they infect other women

but vampires only bite people they REALLY care about, so less likely to happen...

Sadly all this girls are part of some type of mythology and trying to come up with a new title can be difficult (since you mentioned it before).

The best names I can toss in are:

since I'm trying to aim at comedic, they're likely to face less realistic prejudice than would occur in real life

for one thing, the psuedo-vamps created by this are going to tend toward Ghost Whisperer/Exorcists as at least a side job

think I might do it as mini eps on my blog over time...hmmm

I forgot to mention that Monstrum is also a Latin word for monster as well. "Monstrum Syndrome" sounds great to me! (much better than "Slut Virus") :P

"Monstrum Epidemic or Pandemic" could work as well?
