I actually doubt that, given their covering Lauren with Rebecca as newborn vamp and UK pilot's George's girlfriend finding him becoming his now lesbian sister finding him (yeah... classic US-fication there), they seem to be so far hewing close to the UK version in general plot direction so far. I guess the problem is still that any change for Karen/Nina will come half way through the US season and that the show might not make it that far.

Yep, I agree with you. And I should add that just in case it'll happen, we'll see even less than in the british one. I mean, perhaps some CGI face and hands and not much more.

Just keeping you guys updated, the first episode of Becoming Human aired. No TF at this stage from Christa, but it is on Youtube in case anyone is curious and wants to follow it. I'm not in the UK, so that's the only place that I can see it. Christa herself seems to be in denial about her curse. Who knows when and if we'll see a TF, but if you're interested I think these will be posted weekly on the same day as Being Human.

EDIT: Also, just curious, do we have any Process members watching the English show for any more TFs from Nina? She's not that attractive in my opinion, but I'll take female werewolves where I can get them.

As has been more typical of BH after the first season, the TF scene itself from the first episode wasn't much (like 3 quick cuts lasting maybe 15 seconds if that), but the buildup to it was excellent (and fairly long). Recommended, by the low standards of what we get.

Sorry guys, second episode of Becoming Human is on Youtube, and despite a rather interesting plot we still haven't seen a TF. The preview for next week's episode seems to promise to at least delve into the whole werewolf thing a little.

Ignoring the fact its a side-series and its budget is going to be more limited, given that Becoming is set at high school, I think we'll see less of Christa's TF than Nina if only for age based reasons

You are completely right. And I should add that we can deduce by the short trailer ( ) that Christa's TF will be "full-clothing". That is, just some fangs and yellow contact lens. I had some hopes about her, but we'll better expect nothing about it.

Im gonna bet maybe right on this but I would imagine that just like George transforms with incredible pain, sweating, grunting and screaming so will Christa. I'm gonna bet her transformation scene will be more like "Oh know this is really real!" with some bone cracking sound effects, sweat, and some moaning painful noises, then some makeup and then pan to a shadow effect of her turning into the werewolf. The characters from Becoming Human are actually in this show also so Christa cant just turn into a half ass werewolf when George is just like her. So thats my prediction we might get some hot young female starting to change but never see the full transformation which is fine by me if thats all were getting! Oh lets not forget the naked scene the day after she will probably wakeup in History class naked or sumthing and the bell will ring yada yada yada the usual werewolf embarassment cant wait for that too!!!!
