Anyone got any idea what Kadokawa group has in mind for the "Cool Comic Collection"? It has some dates, but I'm not the best at reading Japanese.

Not sure if this was posted yet, but a very short 3rd trailer came out(35 seconds).

There seems to be some very obvious BE just for a split second at around the 5 second mark.

Greetings. Hahahaha, I'm dying here, I seriously have no idea why Hoods and co. keep making these series and not arranging, I dunno, SOMETHING beforehand to take care of the censoring issues. Below are some exmaples of episode one of Manyuu Hikencho in all its FULL ON LAZER BEAM, LAZER TV SCREEN, FULL SCREEN EPILEPTIC glory.

This is like, 50% of the episode. As far as I and the few people I've asked know, Hoods will probably request AT-X air it censored as well like he did for both seasons of Qwaser (AT-X is a channel in Japan that CAN air things uncensored), so people will buy more Blu-Rays. Also, UNlike Qwaser, as far as I've seen there's no preset online uncensored airing (like we got uncensored Qwaser every week), so unless they just do it anyway and haven't made noise about it it's still gonna be a long wait to see some of this till it comes out on disc.

It just cracks me up, since Qwaser needs SOME things censored, but Manyuu will need, like, half of every episode at least.


Edit: I WILL say this though, if it's any consolation, and it kind of is I suppose. Hoods and co. have gone apeshit with the breast sizes as some people like Lurker in this thread predicted/noted. Every girl, even minor characters, are about 10 times bigger than they were in the manga. By the end of episode 1, Chibusa is already bigger, easily noticeably so, than she EVER got in the manga to date excepting the time when she couldn't walk anymore and NEEDED to get reduced. And she's only gonna get bigger. What this means of course, is inconsistent size animations where it's impossible to tell at any given moment exactly how big Chibua is, and she'll appear smaller in some scenes, and no bigger after expansions, than she did before.

I think it's hilarious, personally.

But yeah, the anime is just as I feared. The breasts are so over-the-top that even the people who are watching it to fap will be a bit put off. Starting small and going big over time was the appeal for a lot of people. Also, everything but the boobs has been shafted.

For you maybe. I'll take giant breasts where I can get them. There's a surprising lack of them in anime nowadays


Anyway, it's disappointing to hear that about the censoring, but I refuse to believe that there isn't plans to release some kind of uncensored version. I know censored version are supposed to encourage people to buy the dvd but this is just shooting themselves in the foot.

You don't seem to understand.
Even if you have a BE fetish, they have taken away a major component: scale. They start big and just kind of stay there. There's no real progression. There's no pacing.
