well, I think to answer your OP, I may not speak for everyone, but I don't particularly want to see anyone get hurt because of BE, so since we have magical, or unexplained forces at work with the process, I prefer pain out of it as well.

If I'm going to hurt, I want others to hurt. Iwas in particular pain as I had fallen out of bed laughing and landed on the floor with only my itty bitties to break my fall.
