Re: ABC Comics (Bojay AR/AP comic)

Thanks for all of the feedback. Obviously everybody likes different things, and you can't please everyone. However I've gotten a lot of really positive posts and email responses on this one, so I'm pretty happy about that.

For Shrinkmaster and godleydemon, I know the style you are referring to, but I have to say that I'm not a big fan of that kind of drawing, which I personally feel is overly cute and a bit cartoony looking. In fact, I've specifically asked Bojay NOT to draw my characters that way. I want the comics to look as real as possible, so (for example) in the "Halloween Witch" story they come across as an incredibly detailed AR sequence where you can see real emotion from the characters.

So just so you understand that Bojay hasn't "lost" anything - he's doing what I've asked him to do. I do enjoy the older comics you refer to, I just don't like them as much as his new stuff.

Actually, art style wasn't what I was referring to, I was talking more about the content of his recent comics. I felt that they were losing some of the "process" that made his early comics and images great and while this latest creation has some of it, it was only a small amount. That and he'd seemed to become more focused on mental AR and diapering which are not my particular interests and my reason for leaving Bojay premium.

Ditto on the AP comic, Love the outgrowing clothes bit so it's probably my favorite AP sequence of Bojay's. Although, I do find it amusing that it wasn't so long ago these kind of short comics would've been posted for free. Ah, the good old days XD

I think I get what they are saying. The lack of a background and maybe a engaging story plot. Which would be nice, but would also raised the price of the comic book because Dreamtales would have to cover extra cost. Personally I like regression for its own sake. Witch one is my favorite one as well.

I can only speak for myself, but I prefer a good story and an interesting interaction with the protagonist(s).
I like it to see why someone is AR, and if its whether a joy, thrill, horror, annoyance or far more and how the consequences of these action will turn out.
So as far as I get high quality I'm willing to pay the due price.

I'm in complete agreeance with you on this. The story is almost as important if not as important as the process itself. Without an actual good story and plot to back up a process, its just process and its nothing to get excited about. I see 100's of thousands of images with out any type of plot or poor plot. Combining a good plot and a good story with process is essential to any note worthy comic or story.

Well worth the price. I love BoJay work, and the Ar Archive Bojay section is decidedly lacking in recent months, so to be able to get a large quantity of his amazing art in one shot for one price is amazing.

Thanks for writing such good stuff, Dreamtales.

Re: ABC Comics (Bojay AR/AP comic)

I loved the first segment... that is my favourite type of AP, clothes getting undersized while the fruits are swelling.

I wished the other female AP in the two other sections (witch and Flo) were as detailed as that... Hope Bojay comes up with more in the vein of the first. You gents in the forum agree with me?
