Well, so we can bet if they are going to "show some skin", or if it is going to be the same as usual (off-camera, just hands and face, fully clothed, etc). I'd say, just "implied" nudity (let's say, shoulders up) or nothing at all :P, but we have to wait ten months.

They skipped the scene where he changed in the apartment in the original, but there was another scene later on that I don't remember from the British version. And while they don't stack up to the original, I actually thought the TFs were pretty good. Hopefully they'll get better now that they have a second season.

Thanks for the info. It looks like we will have the most attractive female werewolf in a long time: Kristen Hager.

Can't. Wait.

Also, I read something about Becoming Human jumping to television. Anyone heard about this?

First, yes, she's really a cutie!! And second, Becoming Human was in TV, on a full 50 minutes episode. But I understand that you have heard that there was going to be a full Becoming Human series after all. Well, by the messeges and news from the website we can assume that nothing is discarded so maybe we will see the young three as non regulars in Being Human 4. Man, I wish we'd had some more from Christa!!

Re: Being Human US and UK Season 3

Okay so it's about a week til the new US season premieres. I was feeling pretty hopeful about seeing a female werewolf with Nora after how last season ended, and especially after seeing this photo on the actor who plays Josh's twitter account.

But then, I see this sneak peek:

http://video.syfy.com/shows/beinghuman/v1377633

Now, what I'm worried about is this:

In the Being Human universe, I thought that if you got bitten by a werewolf you could immediately see other supernatural creatures (ie: Josh seeing Sally). Is that correct? Or do you have to change first?

Either way, it put me in a crabby mood. I've been looking forward to this season since last season ended...and I am worried that American producers are once again going to avoid a female werewolf. It doesn't make any sense. Normally their reasoning is that most guys will be turned off, but that doesn't make sense here. Most of the viewers of this show are women.

Sigh. Anyway, I would love to be proven wrong. Your thoughts?

Re: Being Human US and UK Season 3

I wouldn't let it get to you too much. We'll have a female werewolf, but how much of one is the question. She'll probably get a decent first change, after that who knows, since they scaled back on Josh's transformations compared to the UK version. They said before that they want to develop the show and their characters in their own way, so the detail of not being able to see Sally until after her transformation might be one of those ways. I'm just hoping they don't leave us on a cliffhanger in the first episode by having her change at the end, and continue into the next episode.

Re: Being Human US and UK Season 3

This could be indicative of no werewolf transformation, but if that's the case then the choice of showing her scratch seems to be a very odd one. If they wanted her as the normal human mixed up in all this supernatural business, they could have simply had her witness Josh's transformation without receiving a scratch. My worry is that even if she IS a werewolf, we might not get to see her transform in this new episode. We'll see soon, I guess.

Re: Being Human US and UK Season 3

I will add some more funny news to you all: The UK season will start in February... without Nina. Yes, we will have again just a male werewolf (a guy from the season 3) and of course another male vampire to substitute Aidan (Thorin sits down and starts singing about gold...). So, again bad news for all.
About the american show, my expectations were always low (you know, female nudity is baaad, and you gonna go to hell), and I am sure that we will just see some fangs&nails bullshit at the best case. Will we ever have something GOOD in the end?

By the way, as usually, could it be some caritative soul who uploaded the "seneak peek" for us, the poor non-americans? xD We are the (third) world.... :P

Re: Being Human US and UK Season 3

Well I hope you guys are right. Any transformation would be okay with me. :P

But they are being meticulous about not saying that she is. Every press release I've seen has a "nora may or may not be a werewolf" reference. Even in this twitter clip from the show where it's literally right before when she would transform.

https://twitter.com/#!/BeingHumanSyf...77354682748928

Sigh. The suspense is killing me a little bit.

The info that I was interested was waaaaay near the bottom.

Enjoy the premiere!
