Re: next grOw/cOmic to be a GTS story.

The last 6 previews have been completed (ages 13-18) for issue 1. I am now working on the covers for issue 1 and 2. Why issue 2? Because I always show the next cover at the end of the issue for a "sneak preview" of what's coming down the pike.

Then, its final proofreading, compiling into PDF, and setting up the store. I am hoping for a release early next week.

(See attached image.)

And now for some replies, which I've been meaning to get to, but have been too busy to do so:

JBird: NP. There are many styles out there, and none are "it" for everyone. That's OK. Portal Comics does have some nice stuff! Definitely the comic book/cell shading style and nice poses to boot. I have gravitated towards a more painterly feel, with soft shadows and modeling. Comes from my experience as a professional photo retoucher (I've been using Photoshop for almost 20 years now, since version 2.5).

75thp: I hope so!

Phoenix: I truly am working towards that "full time" goal. Not sure if I ever will reach it. Hard to survive when there are 3 months between releases. However, for good or bad, the last 2 months have nearly been that, as my "real life" work has been very slow (which has been painful on the wallet), but has allowed my to pump out this issue quite quickly considering all the work involved.
