Re: Lilo is Stitch by RageTreb

The basic idea got it's start late last summer on /co/ when a Chris Sanders art thread derailed into hypothetical monster-girl territory. A few things were produced in a handful of drawthreads afterwards.

God, what is wrong with people these days. Its like we're too twisted to not get off on something horrifying.

Really? You had to have Mertle devolve into some kind of helpless being that can't even think on the same level? And you're getting off to this twisted deconstruction of another person? You WANT someone else to literally be reduced to nothing more than an egg sac? Are you listening to how sick this is?

Get fucking help. Jesus Christ, people. Why must you ruin everything with your sociopathic detachment to those around you.

I think the comment he made would be more interesting on a religious website, completely stripped of context.

I agree with the sentiment although not how strongly it's expressed.

The story veered off into a strange direction that goes beyond my tastes, but I'll happily defend the people who liked this.

Think of it this way: some people enjoy gory horror movies. Does that make them habitual sadists? Does that mean that they necessarily want to see gory scenes play out in real life? How is it any different if you toss a sexual fetish into the mix?

Seriously, get off your high horse. Fetishes don't reflect people's everyday attitudes.

There's a strong, very strong, psychological difference between enjoying something cerebrally and GETTING OFF to it. The fetishization of such material correlates to a much deeper, stronger, and more fundamental desire for such material. There's a reason that sexualization of violence is such a huge factor in psychopathic crime. Its not healthy. Plain and simple.

So basically.. how dare anyone be interested in something that you're not?

The things depicted in that story are physically impossible. As is SW, GTS, BE and every kind of other transformation depicted on this fetish site. How is it then unhealthy? Nobody is going to go out there and cause it to physically happen to another person. It's harmless, so what if it's not to your taste? If you don't like it, don't read it, but your opinions aren't going to affect anyone in anyway other than them viewing you as an annoyance now when previously they did not. So congratulations on that, you're officially a whiny prude on a fetish site.

It's not my kind of thing either, but I don't go out of my way to try to make people feel bad about liking it.

You don't know much about sadistic mutilators then. My point is, that this kind of fetishization of dehumanizing sadism is not healthy by any stretch of the imagination. These kinds of mentalities are the source of all sorts of problems. Whether or not they can actually be performed in the real world is of no consequence, the psychological building blocks behind it that cause him to be interested in that kind of material is the problem.

Yay for non sequiturs in the opening scentence. You must be a poor fishmonger as you seem to give away your red herrings at no charge

I have a fetish for guro. You do not see me mutilating myself in grotesque ways, nor do I have the desire to do so. I have a hat fetish, and only rarely do I wear a hat when having sex. My strongest fetish is for thunderstorms (I can achieve multiple orgasms with no stimulation by just observing one), but this does not mean that I go out and try to create thunderstorms, have sex in thunderstorms (though the one time I did was absolutely amazing, but it was by insistence of my at the time girlfriend), or go outside during every thunderstorm.

You don't know much about the imagination then. Really? By no stretch of the imagination could it be considered healthy? Let's see a tiny stretch of the imagination later and what do we arrive at? Oh right, a harmless outlet for the imagination that allows a person to express a feeling they would not or should not express in reality. It's the same thing as any other kind of fictional outlet of expression, a video game in which you kill people or a movie in which people are killed does not turn those that play or watch it into killers. This story doesn't turn people into rapists or mutilators either.
