Re: Why does that spell even exist? (BE story)
Hey, remember this thing? It's still going.
Chapter 32 __________________________________________________ _ Tuicia woke up with a gasp, and having broken into a cold sweat. She put her hand to her chest, feeling her heart race. Her breathing was rapid, as well. "Another nightmare?" the woman thought. "Will they EVER end?" She swallowed. "Merde?" She whispered quietly to herself. "'ow long will zis go on for? And do Ah always 'ave to wake up like zis from zem?" She got out of bed, walking on her toes by habit, and passed Carline's bedroom. She peeked her head in briefly, to see if she'd disturbed her, and she hadn't, to her relief. She continued in silence to the bathroom from there. After a glass or two of water, Tuicia looked herself in the mirror. Her reflection made her confident that, regardless of her questionable upbringing and what her nightmares told her, she had grown into a fine woman. "Poo on zem," she told herself. "Ah am well-adjusted, Ah am beautiful, and Ah am? Ahm?" She trailed off, attempting to think of a third thing, and ended up dropping it. "Well." Still, there was one thing that they'd convinced her she HAD to do. After a bit more general puttering around, she went back to bed, and managed to sleep the rest of the night without incident. The next morning, she woke up early, as usual, and did her exercises, along with everything else she did in the mornings to prepare for the day. Then she looked in Carline's bedroom again, to awake her Madame if she still happened to be sleeping, which she did not seem to be today. Instead, Tuicia assumed she'd gone to her study, which was proven right on her arrival there. "Ma Madame!" Tuicia said happily. "Oh. Morning." Carline responded, without turning her head. She seemed a bit down. "Somezing ze matter, Madame?" "Nah? just didn't sleep well, is all." "Oh, Ah am sorry?" Tuicia said, bending down to kiss her on the cheek. Carline smiled. "Thanks. How'd you sleep?" "Oh, Ah? ? vrai dire, Madame, Ah 'ad anozher of mes nightmares, just last night?" "I'm sorry as well, then." There was a pause, long enough that Carline turned back to whatever she was working on, before Tuicia spoke again. "Madame, if it is alright? Ah 'ave a favor Ah would wish to ask of you." "Oh? What's that?" Tuicia hesitated. She wondered if she'd be asking this if not for her dream just last night, but? "Might? might we visit Aphira?" "What for?" "Ah? wish to see Madame Gartave again." "Why's that?" "Ahm? when she? when we were appre'ending 'er, she said zat? she knew where most of ma famille was?" "Tuicia, can you really trust her on that?" "Oui? Ah just know she was telling ze truzh?" Carline sat and chewed on that a moment. "You're sure she was telling the truth? After all, I don't know how much Aphira would appreciate yet another visit from me in such a short time period?" "Please, Madame, Ah know she was! She 'ad to be!" Carline sighed. She knew Tuicia was troubled by nightmares, enough that she'd once again had to get up and move around a bit just last night. This was likely an attempt to alleviate them, whatever it was they were about. "Alright. But how are we to get there? We can't very well drive, and I can't just teleport both of us there." "Madame, Ah know you 'ave somezing zat works 'ere. You 'ave traveled long distances wizh multiple people before. Like last winter, when you went to ze capital??" "Okay. But we leave tomorrow. I had plans today. If it helps at all, you're always welcome to stay the night with me?" Tuicia smile grew on hearing that. "Merci, Madame!" The next day, the two women stood in front of the simple door that marked the entrance to Aphira's home. "Is? is zis ze place, Madame? It is? razher unimpressive. Ah mean, ze view is beautiful, do not get me wrong, but?" "Oh, trust me; it's more impressive on the inside. But, please don't get freaked out, okay?" "Why would Ah get freaked out??" Carline opened the door, and the two went in. On catching sight of its inhabitants, Tuicia cupped her hands over her mouth, and whispered something softly in French. She looked around the place, her expression a mixture of fear and curiosity. "Ah? but- 'ow is-? Zis is? ma t?te? ugh?" She moved her hands to her temples. "You okay there, Tuicia?" "Oui? Ah did not expect it to be quite so odd, zough?" "Trust me, Tuicia? The things you've seen me do don't even SCRATCH the surface of magic." "Ah will? keep zat in mind?" "Hello again," came a voice in both their heads, causing Tuicia to scream and cling to Carline. "?my apologies. I didn't mean to frighten you." The musketeer-looking one from before continued, stepping into view. "Do? do not scare moi like zat?" Tuicia squeaked. "Once again, I'm very sorry." Carline stared at the man, trying to remember what his name was. Er?nest? Er? no, it was El? El-ted. Elted! That was it. He'd noticed her pause and contemplative stare, though. "?something bothering you, miss?" "Oh, no, I'm fine. So? Aphira still lives in the same place, right?" "Of course. Same as it's been for centuries. You do remember the way, yes?" "Yes, but thank you for what I assume was an offer to take me there again." Carline headed in that direction, while Tuicia still held on to her, looking back at him. "Is he always just sitting around the entrance, I wonder?" Tuicia just gaped at him as they went. "But? 'e is a skeleton-! 'ow did 'e??" "Yeah. Aphira does a bunch of weird crazy crap. Don't worry, they're not dangerous. They're people, like you and me. Except? dead." Tuicia seemed to calm down on hearing that, but she kept her arms around Carline's nearest the rest of the way, regardless. Neither minded it. On reaching the home of the Grand Sorceress, Carline raised her arm and knocked on the door. "Come in," Aphira's voice was heard. So the two did just that. Aphira was not in the entry room there, and before they had time to look, Aphira called from another room. "We're in here, watching TV." "We?" Carline wondered as they went to the voice's source, and Tuicia followed, looking at the place as she did. "It is? much less grandiose zan Ah expected?" Carline shrugged. "She lives simple, I guess?" Aphira was sitting on the couch in there, watching the television, as she'd said, alongside a blonde woman that it took them a moment to recognize as Gelly. Tuicia took a moment to look her over. "M?Madame? Madame Gartave?" Gelly turned her head and saw Tuicia, and her eyes brightened with happiness. "Oh my god! Cici! It is you!" She said, jumping up from the couch. Before Tuicia could react, Gelly ran to and hugged her. Tuicia shrunk away at the odd display of affection from her. "'ow 'ave you been, my darling Cici?" "Ahm? Ah 'ave been fine?" She said questioningly. She couldn't help but feel Gelly's very large and very prominent breasts against her own as she held her embrace. Gelly didn't seem to either, as she was lightly rubbing them against her as she moved. Gelly split from her, and looked her up and down. "Cici? you are, like? so beautiful. 'ave I ever told you that?" "Ah? merci, Madame, but?" Tuicia trailed off. Already, Gelly was entirely different than the woman she knew. "You seem different, Madame." She said, voicing that very thought. Gelly giggled. "Oh, I know. My bad. It is because of this!" She lifted her shirt in the back, and focused a moment, and then two large, white, feathered wings came out from her back. "So zat is what 'appened to zem. But? zat is not quite what Ah meant, Madame." "Oh?" She cocked her head. "What is it that you meant then, Cici?" Off to the side, Carline had sat down next to Aphira. "So? um? how successful were you, there?" "What about?" "As far as 'rehabilitating' her, or whatever it was you were doing." "Well, as you can see, she's? well, so far. Unfortunately, I haven't really managed to repair her personality." "Why would you?" "I don't mean repair entirely. I just mean something better than this. That succubus spell, whatever it was, was pretty powerful." "What's wrong with this? I think she's cute." "But you have no idea how utterly clueless she can be sometimes? it's awful. At least now she keeps her clothes on unless told otherwise?" "But Madame," Tuicia responded after another circle of logic. "Ah mean, you are different. You seem less 'ateful. Less cruel. Almost? kind of? not all zere?" "Cici." Gelly said, taking a serious tone, which surprised her. "If you want to know, yes, I am aware that I 'ave changed. I like it better this way. I like 'ow this feels." She bounced slightly, causing her breasts to as well, and giggled again. "And please, do not call moi 'Madame'. I can just go by my name. Just call me 'Gelly'!" "Are you sure, ma Madame? After all, you-" "I mean it, Cici! Like, honest!" "O-okay? Gelly." She held one arm with the other nervously. "But it is so odd? you served as my mozher for so many years?" "Cici?" Gelly said, putting her hand on her shoulder. "And I treasure the times that I served as a good one, few as they were. But now, I want things to be different. I want to be someone 'oo is less of, like, a total prick. I fell 'ard, and I deserved it. Now, I, like, only want what is best for my darling Cici. Per'aps, even, if I'm like, um? not too far out of line? I could even be a friend for you?" A few tears welled up in Tuicia's eyes. "Madame?" "Gelly.", she insisted. "Cici? you 'ave become a femme merveilleuse, ma petite fille?" Tuicia swallowed and took a moment to compose herself after that, so she didn't falter as she spoke. "Ah? Ah think Ah could except zat offer?" She replied, after a while. Gelly smiled on hearing it. "'owever, Ma- Gelly, Ah- er, ma Madame and Ah- we came 'ere to ask you somezing." "Oh? And what would that be?" "You said zat you knew where ma famille was, earlier, when we came across you in France?" "Did I?" "Please, Gelly? do you remember?" "Of course I do! ?you mean, like? do I remember where they are, right?" Tuicia nodded slightly. "Oui." "Cici, I know exactly where you can find your sister, at the very least." Tuicia did something between a gasp and a squeal. "Really!?" She half-shouted, wearing one of the biggest smiles Carline had ever seen her have. "Yes! She is in France! Cici, your sister, she is famous!" "What?" "She is an actress, Cici! A good one too, if I must say?" "She? Rosaire? Ah am so 'appy?" Tuicia grabbed Gelly and pulled her into a hug, whispering something in French to her. Gelly smiled on hearing it. "So, like? can I come with you, and stuff?" She said, ending the silent moment. "What?" "Yeah! I totally want to see 'er too!" "M- Gelly, are you sure zat zat is a good idea?" "Of course it is, silly! Like, why wouldn't it be?" Gelly turned to Carline expectantly after saying that. "Can I come with?" She asked, looking pleadingly at her. "No." "Huh!?!" Gelly said, in complete surprise. "Why not?" "I'm sorry, Gelly. No offense, but this is between Tuicia and her family." "Madame, Ah am alright wizh 'er coming wizh, Ah sink." "And besides, if I don't come with, I, like, might not remember where the rest of 'er family is~!" Gelly said, in a very hint-heavy tone of voice. Tuicia gasped. "Madame!" She said, shocked that Gelly would pull something like that. "Fine. Maybe." She looked back to Aphira, who'd muted the television and was watching it with subtitles on. "Aphira, how ready is she?" "For travelling with you, you mean? As you can see, she doesn't have near as much going on up there as she used to-" "'ey!" "-but, I think she's seaworthy. Or whatever. She's de-aged in looks about ten years, and obviously, she's got quite a different body shape, so I don't think you need to worry about her being recognized by anyone who knew her. I don't see why not." Gelly was bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet in anticipation on hearing that. Carline couldn't help but notice that this sent her quite large breasts jiggling with the motion. "Okay, fine. Fine!" Gelly squealed in delight, and ran over to hug Carline, the height difference and Gelly's eagerness causing her to shove Carline facefirst into her chest. "Omigod thankyouthankyouthankyou!" "You're welcome?" Carline responded, her voice slightly muffled. She quickly wriggled out of her hold. "Now, Gelly, there are a few important things to note." "Oh?" "Yes. First, I am probably going to need to go into disguise. You cannot let anyone know that it is me. I go by Carol when I am in disguise. Understood?" "Oui." "Second, those wings of yours." She reached up a hand, and let the feathery softness of one run between her finger and thumb. Gelly blushed a little as she did so. "What about them?" "You'll need to hide them." "Oh? Why is that?" "They're just a tiny bit conspicuous." "If they're only a tiny bit, then what's the problem?" "?by a tiny bit, I mean a lot." "Oh! Then, like? why did you not say so?" Carline decided to ignore that. "Right. So? Gelly, is there anything you need to bring with here? Any special possessions or anything? Or are you able to just up and leave?" "Of course I can, silly! Um? I think!" She turned to Aphira. "Is there anything I need, Miss Aphira lady?" "Better-fitted clothes would probably be useful." Gelly looked down at the shirt she wore, which strained against her very large bosom. "Oh. I could like, take it off!" She said, giggling. "No, I don't think that's necessary." Aphira stood and tapped her on a wing, and both disappeared. Then she lowered her shirt, and, while doing so, altered the garment, so that it accommodated her chest better. "Oh? I liked the feeling of my boobies against it!" She complained. Aphira looked behind her, expressionless, to see an equally large rear, but just dismissed that one. "Eh, women wear pants tight like that all the time." She raised her head again. "Less than I thought. Alright, you're good to go." "Yay!" Gelly shouted, followed by another giggle. "Okay, Miss Carline lady! Let's go!" She said excitedly, bouncing again, both her and her breasts. Carline reached up and pressed down on her shoulder to stop her. "Okay, don't get too overly excited here. This is for Tuicia, remember." Gelly immediately sobered up. "Right." "So, mes Madames? what manner of travel are we taking?" "I have that covered. Let's go." She turned her head to Aphira. "Oh, and Aphira? Thanks again." "No problem." She said, watching the two Frenchwomen leave. "I just hope you accomplish whatever it is you're trying to with this." "Me too?" Carline said, following them. As she did, she couldn't help but stare at Gelly's butt while she walked. "I should NOT find her so hot?" _________________________________________ Of course, now I fear as it goes it's not going to have a right amount of BE content to merit belonging here, but...
