Ive thought about buying some of their comics, but after following this thread i think ill pass. I sure hope they can get things sorted out sooner rather then later.

I was one of the early adopters, and honestly, I say fuck 'em.

EDIT: I used to think that these guys just needed help, but they don't seem to accept any offers when their house is plainly crumbling.

I bought two comics three weeks ago when I made my last post in this thread and I haven't received them yet. I'm not really angry so much as just disappointed. I'll probably e-mail another complaint, get my comics, claim my free one in the future, and wash my hands of this website. The wasted potential really is sad :T

The part that gets me is that we want it to succeed, but the management is too fucking inept to help it out.
There's a reason Lorekeep left them, and I'm guessing their sophomoric approach to eBusiness has a large part in that.

Here's the thing guys: they are taking your money. They are WATCHING the company's bank account increase in increments while NOT DELIVERING PRODUCT. This is not some "oh we're dumb this slipped under the radar." They know. They are receiving -and using- YOUR money. They are aware of the problem and doing FUCK ALL as the accounts increase MYSTERIOUSLY by $3.99 here, $4.99 there, and multiples of each.

They are thieves. Thieves. You can't be so desperate for content so as to allow these types of people to reach into your pocket and leave an IOU in place of your cash.

If they are thieves, why is it that I do (eventually) get what I paid for? And I pay attention to my transactions, and I never see any "mysterious" payments.

Then again, I do feel cheated by that "By Any Stretch of the Imagination" story. So terrible...

I received my two comics rather quickly after I sent a complaint. Thank goodness they were so cheap, because it lessens the buyers remorse. If I hadn't made up my mind to be done with that site before this I definitely would have after reading my new ones.

It seems most if not all of the new ones focus just too much on sex. Now don't get me wrong, that can be OK but it feels like it takes up too much of the comic and leaves almost nothing to the actual focus should be: growing.
