Well, I'm sorry to tell you that you can keep waiting... at least concerning Being Human US and UK. In the US case, you can enjoy some fangs and claws, and some "nudity" over the shoulders... aaah, I'd die for a single female's ankle xD.
And in the UK case, this season (the fifth, if I'm not mistaken) there are no new female werewolves, and the old ones are not supposed to re-appear (sorry, not Christa nor Allison).
Anyway, as I used to say about these shows, they are good enough to be watched, even though there won't be a decent TF in the horizon.

Oh I'm not saying that the shows are crap. I'm just saying I want to see at least a decent transformation. Male or female (mainly female) it doesn't matter. Not this *proof* I'm a werewolf transformation. Where is the fun seeing them going through it claws, teeth and all. Yeah TV is limited because of time and you don't want to just focus of a transformation scene because it will take away from the story. But all and all at least ONE good transformation one of these years. I'm a patient person and it WILL be worth the wait!!

There will probably be something decent eventually. But I think the real potential lies in short films. With a small dedicated budget and simple premise that focuses around that transformation element. I mean, look at "The Dark", that 20 minute short had one of the single best female werewolf TFs ever. More of that please.

At some point I will be making one of my own. However, the way things are going for me now it will be some distance down the road. Anything you guys want to see in particular that I can take note of for when I do get down to it? I know tails are a must. What else is never seen? I want to focus on the psychological impact of being inflicted with such a condition. How would it affect someone? That type of thing. If this is not the thread to discuss this, I'm sorry. I know The Pack attempted this, but Freeborn is only going into production now, so, I may as well make an attempt myself.

Well just so y'all know, the episode concerning the new female werewolf is premiering this Monday. Whether the transformation will happen this week or the next, I don't know. But I do know that the storyline starts this Monday.

I agree with most of Freeborn ideas, but I'd change some of them myself:

1) You are doomed to be a werewolf, so making that as a "blessing" makes the process uninteresting, because the pain and the fear, are automatically excluded.
2) You change into a monster, not into a wolf. Wolves are noble and beautiful animals, not violent assasins. There is not point to see that. I mean, maybe someone would love to see a girl turning into a care bear, to say an example.

Well, I have some more, but for me these are the principal ones. Of course, I also have a clear idea about how the transformation should be done, filmed and happen, but as you said, this is not the right thread .

Nothing special. Mostly CG fangs and some shoulder/back transformation. Sadly way this season is going so far I think that MIGHT be the only transformation we see from the female variety.
