Well, not that I'm condoning it, or praising it, as it is what it is, but if so many people have used it, that's probably why he knows it wasn't yours. I love you art, and I hate trolls like this. It is such a headache to get permission from artists to use their works for your own art. I remember someone offered to do a manip for me, and I just had to get them a picture. I asked almost twenty people before I got even one consent; and that came with some pretty heavy restrictions. Some people just suck, and are trolls. Don't let it get you down. Worse case scenario, they'll kick you off DA, and the people that really like and care about your art will find you on here.

I decided that those prissy DA models don't deserve me wasting my talent on making them sexier. Lol. Once Im happy with the fur, ill send the pic.

Don't stress about it Ivan. I just feel bad that there are so many trolls that are taking down artists in the genre. I've seen three over the past couple of days, with a possible two more. I got to be honest, so what if someone took your art and manipulated it? I mean if it was me, I'd be a little upset, but at the same time, I posted it on the internet. I'd almost expect something like that to happen. I don't understand why people can't just leave people a lone. It really makes me mad. I'd be kind of flattered if somone took one of my stories and rewrote it; it would at least mean that they thought I had a good idea or story line, or something, otherwise, why bother?

I've been pulled up for copyright on dA as well. I try to respect the rights of the models and photographers so I stick to using stock and follow the rules provided. Usually you just need to provide the models/photographers with credit in the description, however some restrict you to only posting your work on dA (which is why a lot of my stuff doesn't end up in other galleries). Occasionally, I come across photos that I'm inspired to work with, but aren't necessarily stock photos. In these cases, I ask for permission first. I've only ever been denied twice. Most girls are more than happy to let you use their photos and are always curious to see what you can do.

Finding the sources of your images is a lot easier these days with tools like http://www.tineye.com and the ability to upload photos into Google image search (go into Google, click on images, then click on the camera icon to upload your own photo to search). These tools also make it easy for people to find potential copyright violations too though.

I'm personally not someone that cares much if my photomanips are copied and distributed, however I can see why people get up in arms about it. Whilst you may be creating an original result, you're still bound by the same copyright laws and rules as every other creative form (e.g. remixing a song without getting permission to use the samples first is comparable to using uncredited photos that you don't have permission to use). Its essentially art theft - even if there is an added original component to it. Many photo manipulation groups in DA won't accept your work if you don't provide links to all of your sources.

Thanks for the help guys. As most of the images are from various porn-like sources, I have included the owner's name and model's name(s), therefore noting that the image is not owned by myself. They are all back up unless I suddenly get kicked off. If that happens I will move all of my images over here. You guys are awesome!

Yeah, I was originally busted over on FA for copyright, which is why there's like a two month gap between my first couple and the rest on dA. Since I started giving an extensive credits list, I've only had one person refuse permission, and that was resolved to where I could post it again with about 30 minutes of work.

There was a person that was doing something similar to this a little while ago to another TF artist. I think it may even be the same guy. He's just a femminine cleaning product with a paper or plastic mentality. Some people just can't be helped. Honestly, if it's not even his work that's being used, why should he care? Doesn't he have something better to do? Maybe he just needs someone to give him a hug; any volunteers? I'd give him a hug, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to be there to take the knives out of my hands first.
