Well, at least the worst this can do is slow your net connection if you rack up enough strikes...and six is very generous.

It's only "generous" so long as a "strike" has a set, legal definition as "sharing copyrighted videos and/or music over bandwidth-saturating services". Step much outside of that definition in the modern Web and things go downhill pretty goddamn quick. "Slippery slope" may be clich?, but it's no less a valid argument in the modern legal sphere.

Good point. Thankfully, I only use Youtube.

Sure is a lot of copyrighted material on that YouTube. Maybe we'd better throttle that, too.

Just saying, the older generation of media isn't exactly grounded in reality.
