+1 to that. But for this show, all hopes are more or less dead:
First, Brynn's officially dead, we all know what happens when Nora transforms (fangs and claws, if you are lucky), and Erin is one episode left to become dead meat (in the BH scriptwriters' tradition of "kill them all").
And second, they never intended to do so, even though I've read that the FX team worked with prosthetics with Kirsten Hager (confirmed by her) and supposedly had some new and interesting ideas. All smoke, I assume, or devoured by the CGI lamewolves.

If someone's still interested, Laura Vandervoort has been cast as Elena. At least we'll have a cute girl there :P.

Awesome. I was hoping that she'd get a TF scene in V and that didn't really eventuate, so hopefully something happens in this one

I know nothing of her acting ability, but she does look right for the part of Elena IMO.

She wasn't at all convincing in V. Haven't seen Smallville, so I'm not sure what she was like in that
