![]() The names of the spells are interesting, since the kanji read one way, while the kana read in "English". Lina's spell is something like hinnyuu*, which means "make (her) poor in breasts"; the kana says "uosshu boodo" <washboard>, the way we'd say "flat as a board" (not like an American washboard, which has ripples). Naga counters with houmune, which is "bountiful (abundant, rich in) breasts (or chest)", with the kana being "basto ricchi" <bust rich>. (And it does look like Naga overcorrects a bit each time...) Lina's last "spell" in the battle is chimmoku, which is not made up and translates as given in the kana as "silence", the point where she has tricked Naga. *Don't try looking these first two up in a regular dictionary: they're made-up words; you need to find the individual characters. BTW, Lina's opening spell reads something like "ryuu yabukiri", which translates roughly as "dragon destroy (crush, annihilate)". So the spell we call Dragon Slave should really be Dragon Slay...
