I think Obama handled it well, focusing on extending condolenses and putting to rest rumors that had already sprung up about knowing who was behidn this or hving people in custody. Rather than rile people up in a call to arms, or instigate locals to hunt down this or that person with assumptions, he stuck to addressing the tragedy for what it was, and sticking only to the fact uncovered, however few they were.
