"All regular merchandise is regular price."

Let the little shits spend the day in juvie if they can't fucking read that.

Sorry, I just used to see that shit a lot... closed down a couple of my favorite haunts because they couldn't stop it.
That's what they would do. But again, the main reason they stopped was because there was no benefit in it. Meaning, no one who came in for the free comics ever became that interested in becoming a regular reader.

Shit location / selection?
There used to be a Flying Colors by my old house, but they were nestled in an off-street location behind a strip mall.
Also, they only carried classics; nothing in the way of new, imported, or collectible merch.

The two street-corner indie shoppes are still going strong after several decades and changes of ownership.

It's located in a pretty decent area, and they do get good business from both the comic readers and table-top gamers. They also cover textbooks for the local colleges, so that's super-profitable, right there. I can't really comment on the selection of FCBD material, as I've never been able to go to the shop on Saturdays. Otherwise, the normal selection ranges from the big two to the smaller publishers, like Blue Water.

Yeah, I was kind of floored when I realized this was the business model. Kind of ridiculous. But it's an increasingly difficult business to operate in on all fronts.

If you know about them already, you know the content is varied and aren't expecting the stories to all be like this....And it's never been the point of FCBD to put your best stuff on display. Few books do that, and few of those do so with all-new material. It's more about putting out something accessible and pretending you have a hope of dragging kids away from their games and iPads long enough to realize most comics are inappropriate and inaccessible for them 364 days of the year. The BESC faces a similar problem, in that putting one of their best comics out would lead to disappointment when you saw the other stuff.

They made an effort. That's commendable. This is only their second free comic, isn't it? Long time since Dream Girl. I'm glad they did. Food for thought, even if it is junk food.
Well said. Along those lines, they had a portion of Fairy Tale available for viewing, but it led to the "subscription button." I've always felt that would probably be a better free comic to show than Dream Girl.

I can think of dozens of artists on Deviant-Art alone who provide tons of breast expansion content for FREE/competitive prices. Why should I spend my money on a comic/short story produced by the BESC when artists like Jollyjack, BustArtist, and Maxmam provide consistently better art and stories, and don't shy away from criticism?

I understand that some people will like this comic solely because of its fetish content, and I get that.

I'm not one of those people.

I want characters. I want humour. I want action. I want romance. I want a HALF-DECENT STORY. And yeah, I also want to see some breasts expand. But I also want to actually give a shit about the person behind those tits too.

Otherwise you're just settling for the bare minimum. And if that's really all it takes... why does this thread even exist?

I'm just saying.

Exactly. You have to offer something special. I'd rather voluntarily donate to a free artist than pay for the BESC.

I think it's hte subscription model that's killing them. If each comic was offered for it's own price, they'd have more income. Imagine if hte Process went subscription. I know I dont like hte idea of paying a fee every month and then waiting for new content that doesnt deliver, watching moeny disappear while I wait for the one or two new things I'm keeping up with.

Each comic is available separately now -- I think it's been about 6 months since they changed the pricing/subscription model.
